A Saturday well spent! 🍃 Felt so good to have soil on my hands and enjoying the sunshine.
The first Ribbon flower bed of our new build garden! Very pleased with how this has turned out, although will be sorting out that slightly sharp turn promptly!

Will be adding lots of depth and interest here, as well as privacy! The trees are already on order so the next beds are being planned as we speak!

Any ideas on what else I should get planting in this border?

I can’t believe this is the same utility room! 🥹

With some easy DIY panelling, a lick of paint, a little styling and a few faux oak touches, we’ve transformed this once cold space into somewhere that feels so much warmer and full of character.

The combination of Half Light and Café Luxe has completely changed the feel of the room. There are still a few additions I’d love to make, but for now I’m calling this project done and moving on to the next transformation. 🛠️

After weeks of changing our minds, reworking ideas and trying to balance our dream garden with reality (and budget 😅), we’ve finally settled on a plan.

I honestly can’t thank you enough for all your suggestions and feedback over the last few months. So many of your ideas have made their way into this design, and it’s genuinely helped us feel confident in our decisions.

I’m so excited to get started again. The best part? Most of the changes are gravel and flower beds, so I’m hoping that within a few weeks this garden could look completely different 🌿🤍

LOOTILITY MAKEOVER | PART 3 🤍
We’re finally at the painting stage!

After adding the panelling, navigating the light switch drama, and what felt like endless prep work, it was time to get some colour on the walls.

I’ve gone for Half Light by Rust-Oleum, and while I absolutely love it on the walls, I’m still not convinced about the panelling...

Maybe it’s just one of those projects where you have to trust the process and wait for that second coat magic to happen. ✨

As a mum of two little ones, progress often happens in small pockets of time—and this round of painting was brought to you by a Spidey episode and a lot of determination. 😂
So tell me... are you usually team “trust the process” or team “panic halfway through every DIY project”?

LOOTILITY MAKEOVER | PART 2 🤍

The panelling is finally complete and I’m so pleased with how it’s turned out!

What looked like a simple DIY definitely had its moments (that light switch nearly finished me off 😅), but seeing it all come together has made it worth the effort.

This week was all about the prep work—priming the panelling and getting everything ready for the next stage.
Now comes the part I’m most nervous about...

The paint is ready, but have I chosen the right colour? 👀
