Gold Chair Girl
For reasons known only to my sometimes strange and often confused mind, I seem to end up living in homes that require a little TLC. OK...a LOT of TLC. The Romance of the Wreck has really done a number on me. In May this year I dragged my family (two kids, two dogs and a husband) into our biggest project to date. A detached house built in 1910 in the Arts and Crafts style.
I thought I’d start a blog to diarise our house adventures and maybe share our experiences, good and bad, as we go along...I’d just like to point out (probably confirming my delicate hold on sanity) I have the tiniest kitchen you’ve ever seen, no heating and dubious electrics. But - the Promise of what this house could (and hopefully will) become is enough to encourage me to go on this exciting, stressful and bankrupting renovation journey.
Besides, there’s a life size gorilla in my garden (ornamental!) - what else could a woman want?
Except a gold chair, of course x
