This morning was our Air Dry Clay Gnomes workshop, and we decided to trial two different types of clay; stone which starts out almost black but does to a realistic light grey stone colour, and white which dries, well, white!
Our crafters used templates and formas to create the conical shape, added bulbous noses, hat rims and either a shaggy beard or flowers for the ladies! It's amazing how differently they all turned out, but each one with a character of their own ❤️

It must be the heat, but I forgot to post yesterday's bag making workshop run by the lovely Hilly 😊
Hilly advised to use fabric that didn't have a directional pattern, but someone was very keen on caravans! Did she mind that they were upside down on the reverse? Absolutely not. Did it still look great? ABSOLUTELY YES! Just like all the others... Well done ladies 😘

This morning at our 'KIDS 4 A QUID' we made a whole zoo full of animals from toilet roll tubes!
We had cats 🐱 lions 🦁 zebras 🦓 Giraffes 🦒 some pigs 🐷 a snake 🐍 butterflies 🦋 monkeys 🐒🐵 an elephant 🐘 a giant spider 🕷️ and even some dinosaurs 🦖
I think it's fair to say everyone had fun (even the parents!) 😁

When life gives you lemons 🍋🍋 you're probably at a guided painting workshop at Eastbourne Scrap Store!!
Unfortunately, all the lemons (and the rogue passion fruit which started as a mango 🥭, morphed into pineapples 🍍 before finally identifying as passion fruits) just made me think of a large G&T!

Didn’t they do well!!
The last day of our 6 week paper weaving course with Somie. Everything was made out of magazine paper! A very satisfying and rewarding course. Thank you Somie!

Today we sneaked in a cheeky little extra workshop alongside our Community Makes.
Our lovely ladies made Boho brooches our Scrap flower frames in some gorgeous colours.
Most importantly, we chatted, enjoyed a welcome cuppa and hopefully made some new friends!
