An Art Nouveau Rozenburg hexagonal inkwell with insert from 1901 in excellent order. Handpainted with a decor of irisses. Very well marked to the underside with the Rozenburg Den Haag stork mark, year code (on the left) for 1901 and work order number 675 on the right.
Dimensions; Height 5,6cm, width 7,4cm.
No chips to any of the corners or the circle where the insert goes (which is unusual). No cracks to the insert (which is the original one), a mini chip on the underside of the edge of the insert. No lid present alas. Price 200 euros.

A very unusual Art Deco Zuid-Holland Gouda wall plate with the text “Anno Sancto MCM a morte domini nostri Jesu Christi". The consensus is that this was made in 1933, to commemorate 1900 years since Christ died, the Roman date “MCM” is also shown on the plate. Stylistically this would make sense. Within the décor a secondary text "Et portae inferi..." Matth XVI verse 18" which refers to ‘And the gates of hell’.

The plate is in excellent condition with no blemishes. It measures 25cm in diamter(10 inches). This is a very rare one to add to your Gouda collection. Price $140.

For Sale. A very rare 1927 Poceleyne Fles Delft wall plate from the extremely rare ‘Farmer series’ (see page 143 of Rick Erikson’s “Royal Delft - A Guide to De Porceleyne Fles”), this one with the text “In den aanvang is de daad” (in the beginning is the deed). This one handpainted by the Master painter Johannes van Lijnschooten who worked at De Fles from 1889 to 1935, some 46 years! This is the 25cm diamater version, 10 inches. Less than 450 of these plates were made, very few have survived. This plate is in excellent condition, it has crazing (craqueleur) commensurate with its age. Shipping is from the UK and at cost.
