I’m so grateful for all of the wonderful humans I’ve met on this little jewellery making foray. Nicky is one 🖤

As fellow artisan makers, we met at a craft market-where I fell in love *immediately* with Nicky’s gorgeous ceramics inspired by the Ashdown forest that’s on her doorstep! 🌳 needless to say, I went home with a candlestick holder that day and have since become the keeper of one of her little shrines! 🥹

Once she found out I did custom jewellery she commissioned me this wonderful project!

In truth, I haven’t done much jewellery making this year, mostly due to the (still!) ridiculously high price of silver! But working on this earring has reignited my love of the craft! I can’t wait to show you what else I have been working on! 🔨

I love celebrating fellow makers 👏 so please drop Nicky a follow if (like me!) you love nature, pretties and handmade items to adorn your home! 🏡

The amazing lotuslessonsbyashley recently sent me these gorgeous pics from her recent Moroccan retreat featuring her bespoke Firecrest mala necklace! 📿

Mala necklaces have deep roots in ancient spiritual practices. Originating in India over 3,000 years ago and used by Hindus and Buddhists for meditation and prayer. Each mala typically contains 108 beads, a number revered in various spiritual traditions for its significance in connecting the human spirit with the divine. ✨

Ashley holds the most amazing retreats and yoga classes 🧘🏼‍♀️ and has some mini and full size retreats coming up soon!

Flashback to last year and working on this custom celestial beauty for one of my besties ✨ our dads are also besties (if dads have besties?! 🤔) so I reckon we were always destined to be the best of friends!

Carefully selected from my stash of sea glass, these will be very shortly made into wearable art ✨

Spoiler alert ‼️ Sea glass will be featuring very prominently in my bournefortherunway catwalk submission! 🪩 which is starting to take shape….

All of the sea glass used in my jewellery is found by yours truly 💁🏼‍♀️ on Kent and Sussex beaches 🌊

For me personally I love the mystique behind sea glass… what was it originally? Who did it belong to and how did it get in the sea in the first place?! 🤔

I also like the fact that it’s a recycled product and would otherwise just be rubbish 😭 (not on my watch). Teamed up with my recycled sterling silver, it’s a fairly eco friendly option! ♻️

One of only a handful of pics I took at Friday’s 1st BD party for creative_eastbourne because i was too busy hugging, chatting, dancing and *living in the moment* 💃

Was amazing to see everyone (sorry to anyone I missed!!!) I got thoroughly overexcited for our bournefortherunway shout out and also the last minute flyers 🥹 it's all starting to happen and
I'm sooooo here for it!!!!

Was absolutely made up wen the amazing dj_jennyruin played Limp Bizkit 🤘 defo aiming for a cheeky slipknot remix next time 😜

Saturday featured a 15mile hike and I bashed out some jewellery on Sunday! Gosh I feel very grown up going out on a Friday, then still doing stuff at the weekend 😆 adulting level one activated
