Cannes, France exhibition working for Redwood Exhibitions. Very difficult working conditions for a very expensive wall covering! 30•c inside a marquee on the beach! Absolutely smashed it as usual around 200 meters hung in fours days with just a bit of snagging on the last day. Lots of corners and wavy walls to deal with too, not to mention each drop has to be spliced to create the join.

Well it’s been an experience and very hard work but my bit is done. Let’s hope the other guys can get finished for start of the season
Iv been working in the dark all week as no lights apart from site light which just creates a shadow so been quite a difficult one, but all is good! Using very expensive Viscom wall paper done that 1.4m wide on the roll and all the joints have to be spliced to create your own join as factory edges are rough. Dulux ultra Matt non reflective used on the ceiling however as you can see the colour of the pitch on the ceiling I’m not sure it does what it’s meant too but I’m sure once the lights are on it will go but that’s the spec so you have to go with it. Was great seeing how everything is done behind the scenes and the prep that goes in for a match even if I’m not a big fan of football. Thanks Chelsea football club for letting me leave my van on site all week.

Exciting job starts tomorrow for all you football fans especially Chelsea supporters iv teamed up with Redwood Exhibitions for the week to go paint and wallpaper the hospitality suite at Chelsea football stadium. I’m sure you will see many photos of the completed work in the upcoming days.

Kitchen units hand painted from a yellowish cream to gloss white. The customer save a fortune by not replacing the kitchen just to get the colour they wanted! They were blown away by the quality of the finish which makes me very happy! As a lot of effort goes in to it.
It’s NOT just a matter of dipping the brush in a tin of gloss and expecting it to look great, there is a lot of preparation required, thinning and straining of paints etc to get a quality finish without bits and brush marks. But when it’s done properly all the time and effort pays off when you see the smile on the customers face that’s what it’s all about.
