✨ ELEMENTAL SEAL – THE FINAL REVEAL ✨

And here it is… my finished Elemental Seal. 💜🩵

This piece has been quite a journey for me — not only because of its size and complexity, but because of everything it represents.

I had the pleasure of testing this beautiful pattern for Crochet Addiction, and it was also my very first adventure with overlay mosaic crochet.

And what an adventure it was! 😅

This technique definitely taught me patience. It takes time to learn and even more time to perfect. It doesn't forgive mistakes easily — every stitch matters, and accuracy is so important if you want the pattern to reveal itself as intended.

So, if you're thinking about trying overlay mosaic crochet yourself, my little piece of advice is: give yourself time and room for mistakes. Learn, unravel, try again… and don't expect perfection straight away. The final effect is absolutely worth the journey. 🧶✨

🌿 THE MEANING BEHIND IT

The five elements — Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Spirit — are very important to me.

I try to live in harmony with them, respecting nature, what surrounds us and all the living beings with whom we share this world.

That's one of the reasons this particular design spoke to me so strongly. For me, the Elemental Seal isn't simply a beautiful crochet pattern. It represents connection, balance and respect for the natural world. 🌍✨

🩵💜 THE COLOURS & YARN

For this project I used one beautiful gradient yarn cake called “Namaste” CL540 from Wyczarowane po godzinach.

I loved that I could create such a large and detailed piece using one yarn cake. That also made this project feel a little more sustainable to me — something I really appreciate.

The yarn moves through shades of light navy blue, curacao, verbena, fig, light fig, light orchid, thistle, dark lagoon, lagoon and turquoise, with touches of copper and purple lurex running through it.

Depending on the light, the colours seem to change completely — sometimes deep violet and mysterious, sometimes blue and turquoise, and sometimes almost silvery. The lurex catches the light beautifully and adds just a little bit of magic. ✨

Blue and silver also felt especially right for this piece, connecting in my mind with Air, Water, Earth and Spirit.

💎 THE HEART OF THE SEAL

At the centre I added something of my own — a beautiful 6 cm amethyst piece, accompanied by opalite and amethyst cabochons in a metal setting.

I chose amethyst intentionally because of the symbolism traditionally associated with it — peace, balance, protection, intuition and spiritual connection. 💜

Hanging in the open centre of the mandala, it became the final detail that made the Elemental Seal truly feel like mine.

And perhaps my favourite thing about photographing this piece was seeing it surrounded by plants, ferns, sunlight, sky and water. 🌿

It somehow felt exactly where it belonged.

A piece inspired by the elements, photographed among them.

Earth. Water. Fire. Air. Spirit.

Different forces, different energies — but all part of one whole. ✨

This project challenged me, taught me patience and made me fall in love with a completely new crochet technique.

It isn't perfect — my first attempt at something new was never going to be — but perhaps that's part of why it means so much to me.

Made stitch by stitch, with patience, intention and love. 💜

My Elemental Seal. ✨🌿🧶💎

💥I was quiet recently as I was working on something special... So, today I’m sharing a post about a truly extraordinary project I recently had the pleasure of taking part in…

💥Elemental Seal💫💦🔥🌏💨 is a mandala designed by Crochet Addiction, which I had the pleasure of testing – and it is one of the most unusual projects I’ve taken part in so far.

It was special to me on so many levels:

Symbolism of the five elements💫💦🔥🌏💨 - so different from anything that had ever appeared on my hook before.

It was the very first time when I worked with the overlay mosaic crochet technique. A completely new way of crocheting, a new challenge, and an experience I had really wanted to try.

But there is so much more to this mandala…

It’s a love for the elements, positive energy, healing, living beings, myself and crystals (which are part of my ). ✨💎

Today, I’ll leave you with the designer’s post. Read it and discover what "Elemental Seal" truly is. What is a meaning behind it.

And what about my ? 👀✨

You will be able to see it very, very soon… 🌿💫

As Crochet Addiction wrote her post in Polish🇵🇱 I prepared for you English🇬🇧 translation here⬇️

"✨🔥🌊 ELEMENTAL SEAL 🌿💨

Five elements. One seal.

Earth. Air. Fire. Water. Spirit.

Today, another sister—and a decidedly darker one—joins the collection.

is a design inspired by symbolism and traditions. It is perhaps one of the most unusual mandalas I have created to date.

From the start, I knew I didn't want to create something delicate, airy, or floral this time. It was meant to be a seal. A shield. A talisman.
Something raw, powerful, and mysterious. Something that could look like an ancient symbol carved in stone, enduring for centuries.

At the center lies a pentagram, surrounded by the five elements—Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit—interwoven with arcane signs that run around the entire seal like an ancient script.

True to the *She Who Sees* series, I played around with the construction a bit this time, too 😉 I combined traditional crochet with overlay mosaic crochet; this allowed the symbols to become an integral part of the design and gave the piece that bold, graphic character I was aiming for.

But *Elemental Seal* can be more than just a mandala.
At its heart lies a small hoop where you can place a stone, crystal, pendant, or talisman—something of your own choosing, to which you can assign your own meaning or intention.

And if this format isn't quite your style, the design can also be made as a doily. No hoop, no hanging loop—but perhaps with a candle placed in the center instead 🕯️

🖤 Skill level: definitely for those who enjoy a bit of a crochet challenge 😉

And, of course, no launch would be complete without my testers 🫶🏻
What they’ve done with the Elemental Seal deserves a moment of its own. Each interpretation is unique, each has its own character, and each showcases the seal in a slightly different way.

✨ Durn Hill ✨

I'm happy to share my newest finished mandala, "Durn Hill". 💜💛

Named after the beautiful Scottish hill near Hawick in the Borders, this mandala was inspired by the colours and peaceful beauty of the Scottish landscape. The warm golden centre reminds me of sunlight breaking through the clouds, while the soft shades of lavender, pink, and blue echo the colours of heather-covered hills and wide summer skies.

As someone living in Scotland, I absolutely love the landscapes around me. There is something magical about the rolling hills, changing light, and all those colours in nature that find their way into my creations.

Every stitch of Durn Hill was made with care, love, and positive intention, transforming yarn into a little piece of art that brings a touch of Scotland indoors.

I love how the sunlight catches the different colours and textures, making the mandala seem to glow from within. ✨

Have you ever visited Durn Hill or explored the beautiful Scottish Borders? I'd love to hear about your favourite Scottish place. 💜🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Just putting the finishing touches on my "Alchemy" scarf.
Just one more row to go, then it's ready for washing and blocking.

I absolutely love the way the colours intertwine, blending into one another and creating something a little bit magical.

Watching the yarn transform into this beautiful texture is one of my favourite parts of the process. 💜🩷💙

Stay tuned for the finished reveal!

Some designs reveal themselves slowly, knot by knot. This time, a horse emerged from the threads. 🐎

With its flowing mane and proud profile, this mandala celebrates freedom, strength, and the wild beauty of these incredible animals.

I'm so happy to finally share it with you all.

Would you hang this beauty in your home?🤎✨

🐉✨ Fresh off my hook! ✨🐉

After hours of stitching, my dragon mandala is finally complete.

The dragon emerges from a web of intricate lacework, surrounded by layers of open stitches and texture that give the piece an almost magical, ethereal feel. Worked in beautiful shades of violet, lavender, and blue, the colors shift and blend like twilight skies, bringing the dragon to life.

I love how the delicate structure contrasts with the strength and mystery of the dragon motif at the center. Mounted on a hoop and displayed in the garden, it catches the sunlight beautifully and feels right at home among the leaves and flowers.

Every finished project tells a story, and this one feels like it belongs in a fantasy world filled with dragons, hidden forests, and a little bit of magic.

What do you see when you look at it?
