With the help of these amazing kids we managed to have a great start in cleaning the walking path at the end of our street. 2 adults and this beautiful group of children worked for 6 hours. We feel we've only scratched the surface. But summer is coming and we hope more people will get involved. It's the path where we walk, our kids walk, our dogs walk.
We thank to Midlothian Council for providing litter pickers, hoops and bags.
The kids had a picnic lunch and received a snack, a sweetie and a certificate they were so proud of at the end.
We are all knackered, but with a sense of accomplishment for today.
And because tomorrow I celebrate Easter, I consider this the Easter cleaning. 😂🤣
**the kids did not get near the glass. We've set rules that were easy to understand. Anything potentially dangerous was handled by the adults. The kids were spotting them, and called us.
