This week’s Friday Favourites is a little mix of everything, and that’s exactly why we love it.

Your inspiration doesn’t have to fit neatly into one style or be made up of perfectly curated room images. Sometimes it’s a chair you can’t stop thinking about, a colour palette, a beautiful piece of joinery, or simply the way the light falls in a space.

During our discovery call, we’ll always ask you to share your inspiration. Not because we want to recreate someone else’s home, but because those little details help us understand what you’re naturally drawn to. It’s how we design homes that feel personal, considered and completely unique to you.

Moodboarding is a little bit like manifesting your dream room… except there’s a lot more intention behind it.

By this stage, we’ve already explored the inspiration, selected furniture, finishes and materials, and considered how everything will work together. This is where it all starts to come to life, giving you a real feel for the space before any decisions are finalised.

It’s one of our favourite parts of the design process because you can finally see the vision taking shape.

Last week, we spotted this beautiful home being featured by Tom Fitzgerald | This One's Nice . It also happens to be one we’ve had the pleasure of working on, and today we’re giving you a closer look at one of our favourite spaces.

The brief for this bedroom was to create somewhere that felt calm, contemporary and completely at home within the character of the property. Soft textures, warm tones and considered details come together to create a space that feels restful without losing its personality.

It’s a reminder that modern design doesn’t have to feel stark. It can sit beautifully alongside period features, enhancing what’s already there rather than competing with it.

Starting the week with a little collection of some of the bathrooms we’ve had the pleasure of designing.

Bathrooms are often one of those spaces that get pushed down the list. They require a lot of planning and intention, so it’s easy to put them off. But once they’re finished, they can completely change your daily routine.

A well-designed bathroom isn’t just about looking beautiful. It’s about creating a space that works effortlessly, with thoughtful storage, practical layouts, durable materials and those little details that make every morning feel that bit easier.

Sometimes, the smallest changes make the biggest difference.

After three years of walking through this hallway every day, it felt like the right time to give it a little refresh. Not a complete redesign, just one thoughtful update that completely changes how the space feels.

The original Victorian tiles in our vestibule have always been my starting point. Their beautiful blue and warm brown tones inspired the colour palette throughout the hallway, from the deep blue walls in the vestibule to the painted staircase. So, when choosing new artwork, it made perfect sense to lean into those rich, earthy browns.

This beautiful piece, kindly gifted by was exactly what the space was missing. It’s larger scale crates so much more impact the moment you walk through the front door, while picking up the colours that have been there all along.

Finishes with a few favourite styling pieces, a vase of eucalyptus from the garden, and (of course) a little bit of faffing until everything felt just right.

It’s a lovely reminder that you don’t always need to renovate a room to fall back in love with it. Sometimes, one carefully chosen piece is enough.
