After years of picking up shells on beaches in Scotland, getting inspired by leaves and giving silver handprints to friends and family, I decided to set up Silverbean Jewellery. I make each piece of sterling silver jewellery from my small workshop in the garden. My favourite is the handprint jewellery, which is totally unique and special to the person that I am making it for. Silverbean jewellery

includes my designs of shell jewellery, leaf jewellery, heart jewellery, handprint jewellery and nature jewellery. I have also designed a range of jewellery in support of local charity Itโ€™s Good 2 Give (http://www.itsgood2give.co.uk/) and their Ripple Retreat. All sales from the Ripple Jewellery include a contribution to support the charity. I take bespoke commissions and I have made jewellery from shells that people have found on beaches which hold a special place in their hearts, clan jewellery, jewellery with peopleโ€™s signatures on, fingerprint jewellery and any other creative ideas that people have.

Thank you to everyone who came to say hello, chatted and bought jewellery. I am not sure I was making sense by the end of the weekend so I am sorry if I waffled at you!

Thanks so much to the museum staff for being so accommodating and to all the artists in the museum, it had such a lovely supportive atmosphere to make it lots of fun.

I have been so lucky to make some very special bespoke pieces of jewellery recently. They were all very different but each just as special. I remodeled 2 gold rings - one into a special new ring with a sapphire and the other into a feather pendant. Another was making a setting for a gorgeous agate that Margaret got on a visit to Canada - the agate is beautiful and the setting needed to make sure the light could still sparkle through the stone ๐ŸŒŸ

These commissions are so special and I am always grateful for people trusting me with them - thank you โ™ฅ
