One of Thistle & Broom's exclusive designs "Calum's Road".

Organic wool from the Isle of Skye, hand-dyed with natural indigo then hand spun into yarn and finally hand-knit by Marion Collier (deep blue buttons purchased in a Paris boutique). There's enough of the blue left for perhaps two sweaters. And then exactly the same but in Shetland dark natural (think the colour of peats) with brand new vintage, handmade natural horn buttons. Both going to Naples, Florida.

With the certified organic, spun in New Lanark, we have a cardigan in a 46" ready to ship.

Agnes Bowie, age 89, is still hand knitting Fair Isle gloves for Thistle & Broom but this is her last full size effort - a slipover, or golf sweater, of her fabulous Snowflakes & Diamonds pattern. Agnes just finished this, Thistle & Broom label is being added.

Pricing for a T&B slipover is normally £280.00 or $359.05 with a four to six month wait. With over 100 hours involved Agnes has taken the full naturally occurring palette of Shetland fleece to create Snowflakes & Diamonds.

Last one, ever. Mary Thomson's fibromyalgia and arthritis has stilled her considerable textile artist skills.

"Run of the Moor" is made of 100% Shetland lambswool, painstakingly hand-frame knitted of moorit (a deep rich naturally occurring taupe) and natural cream yarns, then felted! Absolutely glorious, thick and warm.

Measures 40" x 57" with 5" rib knit (also felted) fringe at either end. Almost impermeable to wet it's ideal for football watching.

Fabulous gift, Christmas is coming.
