Our Story

Creations for your home made in the heart of the Aberdeenshire countryside. I started Criagie House Interiors in the summer of 2015. Living in the heart of the Aberdeenshire Countryside and in the midst of some wonderful wildlife I design and create animal inspired lamp shades. These shades are made using beautiful fabrics such as linen, cotton and best of all every shade and mixture of Tweed possible.

I love everything about sewing and over the years have experimented with all sorts of sewing projects. Learning initially from my mum who used to sew clothes for us as children, later going on to study dressmaking and needlecraft. This gave me a love of fabrics and their endless possibilities. I enjoy sketching and combined together - my shades....

Everyone is welcome at my Studio to see the process and have a sneak peep at the latest designs. Please call first for an appointment, unless it is during an Open Studio Event.
