Can we take a moment to appreciate these bubblegum-pink overalls? I absolutely love them 💗

You might also spot the brown stain on one cheek… the result of sitting in a spilled cup of tea on about day two of wearing them 🙈

I’ve had a bit of a tough week health-wise and needed a couple of days to rest, so I haven’t painted as much as I’d hoped. But I’m still really pleased with the progress.

A new way of working 🎨

This is my first mural painted almost entirely with an airbrush. I’m learning as I go—building up layers, finding the right contrast and trying to keep a steady hand!

Thanks to for all the guidance and tutorial videos - I feel like I’ve learnt so much in the last couple of months 🙏🏻

🎃 OCTOBER HALF-TERM WORKSHOPS ARE NOW OPEN! 🎨

I’ve planned two brilliantly creative mornings for young artists at Little Downham Book Café:

🌱 MAKE A MANDRAKE
Tuesday 27 October, 10am–12.30pm
Ages 8+ | £24 per child

An absolute must for Harry Potter fans! Children will sculpt their own wonderfully weird Mandrake from polymer clay, ready to take home at the end of the workshop.

🟡 YAYOI KUSAMA PUMPKINS
Thursday 29 October, 10am–12pm
Ages 6+ | £19 per child

We’ll explore the colourful, polka-dotted work of Yayoi Kusama before designing and painting a large 26cm papier-mâché pumpkin to take home.

Both sessions will be fun, relaxed and inclusive, with all materials included.

Spaces are limited, and there’s an automatic 10% discount when booking siblings.

👀 Hands up if your child literally notices the tiniest things? 🙋🏻‍♀️ A walk in the woods can turn into a foraging frenzy and a trip to the beach is essentially a treasure hunt 🐚 so when I paint murals in schools, hidden details are my favourite part and I love the idea that you might discover something new each time you’re in that space. Tag someone in the comments who’s child has an eye for detail ⬇️
