Had been a while since I’d had a traditional piece in and this piece came in originally for just a recover, but after stripping back it became clear it was a total rebuild! It wasn’t sprung so we put springs back in and it was finished mostly traditionally! (A bit of staple cheating here and there! )The right arm was completely broken at the base so needed re-doweled. The Omega velvet from looks fab in this colour! Returned it this evening to my happy customer, with whom I’m now having a glass of wine!🙌🏻

Newly covered sun loungers delivered in time for the pool to be opened up again next week! Not mine unfortunately! 🤣And will be swerving these aluminium frames next time!🤣

Two very large occasional chairs! They came in just for a recover but left having been totally reupholstered after I saw the broken and brittle webbing, which was made from tyre rubber! The strip nails were replaced with individual ones, which always looks nicer, in my humble opinion! Should be good to go for a while now!

So this little chair was my Customer’s son’s chair when he was a little boy and it has now been recovered in a lovely blue ticking stripe from ready for her grandson!
