A snug designed with quiet confidence.

In this north-facing room, colour was used carefully to bring depth and softness, creating a space that feels balanced and calm throughout the day. Bespoke window treatments were designed specifically for the room, controlling light and adding a gentle layer of texture.

Comfortable, composed and deeply considered, this is a space that feels settled from the moment you step inside.

A dining room designed to draw people in.

Bespoke joinery once again provides the framework, but it’s the layering of light that brings the room to life. Soft pendants above the table, gentle wall lights, and considered ambient lighting working together to create warmth and rhythm throughout the day and into the evening.

This is a space designed for gathering. Calm, welcoming and quietly confident, with every element working in harmony to make time spent here feel easy and unhurried.

A lounge designed to be felt, not just seen.

This space was always going to be about warmth. The kind that settles in gently and makes you want to stay a little longer. Bespoke joinery was key here, not as a statement, but as a backdrop for living. Thoughtfully proportioned, softly lit, and layered with pieces that feel personal rather than perfect.

When a room works hard for family life, it needs to hold comfort and character in equal measure. This one does both, quietly and confidently.

When a room is designed as a true investment, every detail matters.

This cinema room was conceived as a complete experience. Not just how it looks, but how it feels to use, night after night. The lighting, acoustics, joinery, furniture, finishes and final styling were all carefully considered as part of one cohesive vision.

Through our Signature Design Service, we manage every stage of the journey. From initial concept and spatial planning, through technical coordination and trusted specialist trades, right to the final layer of styling that brings everything together seamlessly.

Designer for a Day is a highly focused design experience, created for clients who want clarity, expert guidance and tangible progress, without committing to a full end-to-end service.

Each session is carefully prepared in advance, with time taken beforehand to understand the brief, review plans and gather relevant information. The day itself takes place at Brass House Studio, where our extensive sample library allows materials and finishes to be explored properly, and a large interactive screen enables us to review layouts, drawings and ideas together in real time.

Following the session, everything is pulled together into a clear and considered plan, giving clients confidence in their next steps and how to move their project forward.

Designer for a Day is intentionally exclusive. We release only a small number of dates each month to ensure every client receives our full attention.

Brass House Studio sits at the heart of the business. It’s where we take time to explore ideas, review materials, and guide decisions thoughtfully, bringing structure and ease to what can otherwise feel like a complex process.

From the earliest conversations through to delivery, we manage the project in its entirety, coordinating trusted trades and specialists on our clients’ behalf. Every detail is considered, every decision guided, and every moving part carefully overseen.

Working from Brass House Studio, we bring structure to complex projects and calm to the process itself, removing unnecessary pressure and uncertainty along the way. Clients are free to focus on the excitement of seeing their home take shape, knowing the detail is being managed with care.

I can’t believe it was back in June when I visited the WOW! House at Chelsea. This year’s showcase was one of the most inspiring yet, with so much thought poured into every design. As an interior designer, it’s the tiny details that truly spark excitement; the precise placement of ceiling lighting or the subtle wood grain flowing seamlessly through bespoke furniture.

That’s the beauty of custom design: the layers of detail, knowledge, and consideration that come together to create spaces that feel effortless. And that’s exactly what excites me about the work we do.
