Our deepest sympathies.
It is with sadness we announce the death of Susan Wills-Pope whose funeral is being held today in Devon. Wife of Brian Wills-Pope and special friend to Al, Susan initially wanted to be a farmer but found herself working in a local florist which was to launch a long and varied career.
Because not only did she and her husband run a chain of shops in the Torbay area for over 50 years, but she was a popular demonstrator and competitor for many years … including a 25-year run at Chelsea where she took Gold.
An active member of the Society of Floristry before it merged with the British Florist Association, Susan went on to become a well-respected Judge and as part of the Judges Guild her kindness and support is remembered by many florists who started their competition career under her guidance.
To her friends and family, we send our warmest wishes … having known her for a long time we know she was a very special lady.
