Lovely client meeting today. After the initial consultation I like to provide my clients with a Sample Board/Mood Board aswell as a fully itemised quote. This enables the client to really see the scheme. The quote is obviously important but nothing speaks louder than visuals and samples that you can actually feel and see. A very happy client and a very happy me with my first project for 2027.

Working on this beautiful fabric for a client’s guest bedroom. Absolutely love the colour way and the intricate details. Pattern matching can be a challenge but pleased with how these curtains are coming together. Spot the pattern match on the first picture…..it took my Son and Daughter a while. Love how they are supporting my new venture. One of the very many small details of a handmade finish that really elevates the look of bespoke window treatment.

Putting together a considered scheme takes time and research. I really enjoy this part of any project and always look forward to presenting the design solutions to a client after initial consultation. This scheme is for a guest bedroom in a traditional country home, with the client in need of both a window treatment and cushions. Taking inspiration from the rural setting and colours in the room this beautiful is a perfect choice complemented with a stunning trim from The Pompomery and gorgeous contrasting fabrics from Ashley Wilde Group . A little introduction to Little Grange Interiors and me. As a busy mum of four I have always found work to fit in around the family. As the children are now older, I decided to do something for me (and ultimately them) and take the huge leap and start my own business. I have always had a passion for interior design having studied it at college and I have always loved making and creating. Hence becoming a curtain/soft furnishings maker to run hand in hand with my love for interior design. It’s scary going out on your own, but I’m so looking forward to helping people with their projects and bringing their dreams into a reality. Home is where the heart is and to be a part of that in a small way is so special.

I spent the day today at a SilentGliss product training seminar in London, learning more about their tracks and poles currently on the market. From traditional hand drawn and corded tracks to motorized smart systems, there is a solution for every window. Curtain and Blind fixtures and fittings are often an afterthought in window treatment choices. However, without the correct choice for your window, the design can be comprised. It can seem overwhelming but happily these choices can be discussed at consultation stage to find the right choice for your home.
