During that time thousands of tonnes of building materials have been reclaimed and reused. Based in a former Victorian railway station next to the Swans Nest Pub in Exminster we are able to supply any item needed to renovate, restore and furnish your period home. The only way to really see what we have to offer is to pay a visit to the new improved Exminster branch, you won't be disappointed. Toby

Friday finds! Another little one to see out August...I've been off this week on a little end of summer hols break with my kids but the other guys have been running the shop and out & about picking pieces up locally whilst I've been away.

Just over one year since seeing them at the Eden project I saw Madness again last night at the Beautiful Days Festival - another great show and a fun night. Live music is so good for the soul.
It's my youngest sons birthday today so a very early start after a slightly late night but we'll be heading back for more festival fun after excessive amounts of presents & cake!

I'm in a field this weekend and then away with my boys for a little break next week but the other guys are holding the fort and we are open every day as usual! (10am to 5pm Saturday and 10am to 4pm Sunday)

Random photo! I just popped in to Exeter to see a movie at the picture house (the Anthony Bourdain biopic) and as I left I snapped this photo...such a cool scene with the glowing windows! So much of the Exeter of old was lost in the blitz or has been poorly developed it's so good to see little reminders of how cool it once looked 🙂

Friday finds! Another small one for mid August but some really great pieces...
Including: a beautiful cast iron fountain, a Victorian Carrara marble surround, a lovely cast iron surround (very grand and super easy to install!), a load of classic style sinks - all brand new, unused and either one or two hole versions available plus... 3 x 5.2m pews that have literally just arrived from a very local church 15 minutes before we closed for the day!
We are open Saturday & Sunday as usual and I'll price and measure all this new stock first thing tomorrow morning!

New stock! We've just had another delivery of garden zinc etc including some new designs (like the large dolly style tubs and some nice smaller planters & lanterns too which are all very cool).
We've also restocked the huge terracotta pots, rusty faces and other planter styles that we've had before.
The seahorse hooks are fun too 🙂

We've finally pulled out these 3 beautiful (& huge!) windows that came on the last Indian container.
3 matching windows with teak frames and only one cracked pane between them which is pretty good going considering how far they've travelled since I found them in India!
Approx 137cm wide x 281cm high (slight variation between them).
The last photo is the big set of Indian doors that we also moved today - 162cm wide x 266cm high

Open today 10am to 4pm as usual!
August is always a bit quiet for new stock as I juggle shop work, summer childcare and the dreaded annual stock count but we still have bits and bobs arriving regularly like this little collection.
Anyway, lots of interesting stuff arriving & missions planned from September again!
