And just like that I'm in Marrakech! Exhausted & with a very sore back after a fall whilst climbing around in the container but excited to be back out on the road again, it's all rather surreal though to be sure!
I arrived late last night but only had time for a much needed feast and a walk around before bed. Today started at a huge flea market and then multiple locations around the city looking at reclaimed stuff.
I'm not really buying on this trip as I can only take what I can carry on the plane but instead doing research to see if it's worth looking into shipping from here.
It's been fascinating so far though 🙂

After a very busy 36hrs unloading & sorting the Indian container I am now at Bristol airport about to fly to Marrakech so full uploads will have to wait until next week but here's a walk through of the new stock!
Its probably best to buzz the shop for prices etc or pop in as I'm away and don't have info with me..the guys at the shop are there everyday to help though!

The Indian container finally docked at 4am so will now be arriving at the yard tomorrow morning - this does mean that the entrance will be blocked by a massive lorry for the entire morning and the shop will be utter chaos all day I'm afraid.
We do hope to have most of it unpacked by the end of the day though and we will price everything first thing Wednesday morning as well.
So if you are planning a visit I would probably avoid tomorrow and come from Wednesday lunchtime onwards.
I'll also do a walk through video before I run off to the airport on Wednesday too!

Well, I was meant to posting to say that our Indian container is arriving tomorrow morning and to warn everyone that the yard will be blocked by a huge lorry and absolute chaos for a few hours whilst we unload everything but the ship is currently sailing in circles off Southampton so, to be honest, I don't know when it's going to arrive!
Possibly tomorrow morning or afternoon or maybe even Tuesday...anyway, we'll have loads of amazing new stock sometime in the next few days and I'll post more as soon as I know!
(As a manic planner I find it all very stressful but I'm sure it will be worth it once it is finally unloaded!)
We are open until 4pm today as usual!

Here's something very cool that arrived yesterday....some uranium glass!
It's such amazing stuff and it looks really quite magical under UV light!
A weird & fascinating part of history.
It's now on display in our showroom if anyone wants to have a look (we've set up a little display with a UV torch for educational purposes) but it's not for sale I am afraid - I've never had any before so I'm keeping this set for now! 🙂

Here's a round up of this week's new finds! We are still hoping the Indian container will arrive early next week so I am trying to keep stock levels down a bit in preparation for that but it's currently still at Tangiers so it's a way off yet! Anyway, some nice new finds this week....
