PROJECT: AUTOMATED BLACKOUT INTEGRAL BLINDS: FRINTON ON SEA: ESSEX. (Including Frames).
THE WORLDS SMARTEST INTEGRAL BLINDS BY A MILE…
Here is a recent project incorporating our unique 100% Blackout Integral Blinds (between the glass blinds) with a Fully Dressed Perimeter and Border Detail with a fully concealed stack. Even on a bright summer day these blinds would plunge your rooms into total darkness.
Integral Blinds are blinds that are between the panes that form your double glazed units in your window or door frames. Because of this they never need cleaning nor can they be easily damaged.
They are usually operated using our own enhanced permanent magnet controls but are also available as automated remote controlled / switch controlled / app or voice controlled.
They can usually be easily retrofitted into most existing window or door frames.
We retrofit / install and supply throughout the whole of the UK.
Note also… The Fully Dressed Perimeter and Border Detail and fully concealed stack options are all unique to us and are not available anywhere else.
These optional refinements serve to transform and elevate the look of any integral blinds project from something that would look quite retro and ‘bare bones’ to something that looks extremely smart, modern and contemporary.
With the alternative bare bones look, you can see the internal profile engineering, the mecanical joints between the head rails and side profiles, whereas with the fully dressed look, those profiles and all that internal hardware are smartly concealed behind the dress perimeter which is available with the choice of over 100 colours, and you can have a different colour inside and out.
Additionally, with the smarter fully dressed perimeter option, you can have a concealed stack at the top where the blinds withdraw up fully out of view, or alternatively you may have an unconcealed stack at the top as shown here.
The concealed stack has a deeper pocket, which, of course allows our integral blinds to withdraw fully out with view when raised.
The depth of that pocket at the top is always in proportion to the height of the sealed unit, and the number of slats that need stacking when fully raised and don’t forget, it always includes the height to the head rail, which you would of course always have.
If you raise your blinds every day, the chances are, you would definitely want to go for the fully dressed perimeter with the concealed stack. However, if you are rarely going to raise your integral Blinds it may be the case that you would opt for the fully dressed perimeter but within an unconcealed stack.
This makes the look of our fully dressed Intral blinds with a concealed stack, much tidier and smarter where the stack enables the blinds to be fully raised out of view.
The additional optional element to the dressed perimeter is called the border detail . The border detail is the final refinement on the edge of the sight line where the dress perimeter meets the view. It’s approximately six mm wide and again it’s available in a choice of over 100 colours and is always a different colour to the dress perimeter.
The dressed perimeter and border detail refinements, make the look of our Integral Blinds Ltd, contemporary… and modern looking… creating a more residential look than the more barebones retro look that you would have without the perimeter border detail .
Even when we do commercial projects, such as hospitals, for example, the hospital mortuary observation window at Darlington Royal infirmary they had theirs fully dressed. It’s extremely unusual that we would do a project where the customer, if choosing for their own home, would want theirs as bog standard barebones only.
The warranty with the integrated blinds with both the dressed perimeter and border detail options is usually, a full 15 years. Whereas, with the bog standard barebones integral blinds, we apply a 10 year warranty which is still double what most people offer on their integral blinds.
