How does a simple carved mark turn into a pattern you want in your home?

This Bella print started as a leftover piece of lino that I didn’t want to waste.

I carved a few marks, played with the shapes and repeated them until a pattern appeared that felt calm and balanced.

Today I turned that little experiment into a soft cosy oblong cushion in one of my favourite greens. Cutting pinning and sewing with a plain green piped edge to frame the print and give it a clean finished look.

I’ll be taking this one to my next craft fair (if I don't decide keep it for myself ☺️) and I can make it in any colour you love.

“This Seaweed print has become one of my signature designs

This oval lampshade in my Green Seaweed print has been one of the pieces I’ve loved making this summer.

Even when I’m not in the studio I find myself thinking about the colours and shapes that inspire my work. Today is a slower day and it felt right to share a little part of the making process.

The soft oval shape gives such a beautiful glow and the Seaweed greens always feel calm and grounding.

A storm has been rumbling around the studio and everything outside feels grey outside today.

This tiny Daisy candle clip shade has been the brightest thing on my work table. There’s something lovely about working with colour when the weather is doing its own wild thing.

The lino print design lifts the whole space with a little burst of cheerful colour.

What makes a tiny heart print feel so cosy?

Carina begins as a tiny hand carved lino print heart and becomes the soft repeating print you see here.

This dinky shade I am making is perfect for small spaces and gives the warm cosy glow that makes autumn evenings feel even softer.

If you’d like one made for your home, Carina is available in customisable colours and any size or shape.

Do you have colours that hold memories ?

A studio moment to share with you as I make a large 50 cm Bella drum shade in the blue my mum chose for her birthday.

She is where I get my creativity and my love of being outdoors and this colour feels just like those big blue skies we would spend so much time under.

Its lovely to be able to make this for her. Happy Birthday Mum.

Could this be the shape that works in your hallway

This Bella oval shade began life as a lino print experiment, one of those quiet studio moments where I was trying out new styles and colours.

It’s the largest oval shape I make and I’ve always imagined it sitting on a console table in a hallway, especially when you want to make the most of the space you have.

There’s something lovely watching the print softening as it wraps around the frame.

A lampshade made for a beach house by the sea.

This Lobster lampshade was made in a custom blue to match a client’s existing furnishings as part of a quick refresh in their beach house.

The making process is simple and satisfying, lining up each lobster and smoothing the fabric as the frame comes together. It’s a lovely way to bring a coastal print into a room without changing everything around it.

If you’d like a shade colour‑matched to your own home, customisable colours are always available.

Small shade, big colour energy.

We have had a brilliant summer and the dahlias in the garden are still flourishing.
That same joyful colour is in the studio as I make a 15cm Flower Garden lampshade, a bright little piece perfect for shelves, bedside corners and cosy reading spots.

Handmade by me using my original lino print design.

Making this lampshade in my Pressed Flower print feels like opening the book where those petals have been tucked away since my honeymoon.

I picked them and pressed them all those years ago and it still feels like yesterday.

This print brings that memory back as the shade takes shape in my studio.

Once it’s lit the print has almost like turning a page back in time.

A quick behind the scenes of the Daisy fabric

A small behind the scenes moment making the Daisy cushion.

This print always feels different once it’s sewn and creates a soft light when used to make lampshades.
