Learn to cut accurate, bespoke, single mounts using a handheld mount cutter. We’ll calculate sizes so you can fit your textiles into readymade or existing frames.

In the afternoon we’ll go on to look at cutting box mounts which will introduce depth and shadow around your work.

A Big Ask!
Has anyone got a wrought iron treadle machine they don't want, I want one! Purely decorative, I want to use it as a shop dressing.

I have some exciting news. Chain Stitch Reaction Workshops will be moving from Havant to Jolly Stitcher, Hackett Way, off Newgate Lane, Fareham. Les and Marilyn have built the fabric, wool and haberdashery retail business over 7 years and are now ready to hand the reigns to someone else, me! I wish them all the best in their new adventure.

The shop will shut on 16 June and after a short break I will re open on Saturday 7 July. Come along and see the new workshops available and meet with fellow students and customer. I hope you will continue to support me in this move. I will keep you all posted about the opening event! ###
