Would you like to learn one of the oldest recorded human crafts?

Leatherworking relies on core hand-skills such as cutting, casing, skiving, hand-stitching, burnishing, stamping, and tooling. This session with Mick from MAD Crafts will introduce you to some of those skills.

By the end of the class you'll have a drawstring pouch to take home (it could be the start of your Christmas gifts😉)

Low cost child friendly craft activities for the half term break. Four different crafts to choose from on the day, and no clearing up to do afterwards! Sessions run at 10:30am and 12noon on bothe Thursday 22nd and 29th October*

Our Half Term Kids Crafts activities aim to inject some creativity into the October break!
Available activities:

1. Ceramics Painting - everything provided to paint a ceramic money box/ornament

2. Colour a Coaster - choose to decorate a ceramic coaster with our paint pens (makes a great personalised Christmas present for grandparents, teachers etc)

3. Decorate a mask - making it Halloween themed is optional

4. Badge making - colour our pre-printed designs, choose stickers, add a layer of holographic sparkle

Book in for either the morning or afternoon session for just £3 per child and let them choose 1 of the 4 creative activities on the day.
For the kids that craft quickly you can add a second craft for just £2 while you are with us.

Fancy trying something new, having a cuppa and spending a couple of hours getting crafty with other people? 💜
Thanks to grant funding from Rushmoor Borough Council, we’re running FREE creative sessions for people aged 55+ – with a different craft to try every time!
🧶 Wet felting
🎨 Chinese brush painting
🪡 Paper embroidery
💎 Beading
🪵 Leather working
🌸 Paper flowers
🕯️ Decoupage jar lanterns
🎄 Christmas crafts
…and plenty more!
You don't need to be crafty already – all sessions are suitable for beginners, and activities can be adapted for reduced dexterity.
Our friendly and experienced tutors will show you what to do, but there’s no pressure to create a masterpiece. Come along, have a go, chat, laugh and enjoy some creative time together. 😊

Cunning Artificer .artificer has made these 3D printed poseable models just for you. With their weird mouths and staring eyes they could be straight out of a horror film. Not generally suitable for young children or those of a nervous disposition, but will suit fans of Halloween and horror films.
