As you may or may not already know, service and maintenance of your stove and chimney is an extremely important part of keeping your installation running safely and efficiently. All manufacturers’ state servicing and sweeping of their appliance should be carried out:
- Once a year for smokeless fuel
- Twice a year for coal
- Quarterly for wood (when in use)

- Thoroughly sweeping and checking of the flu using the correct rod and brush system.
- A thorough internal clean including the glass.
-Exterior clean and polish if required
-Inspection and replacement of door and pipe seals, glass, baffles and firebricks.
-Testing carbon monoxide alarms.
