Progress Vanessa - soft furnishings & interior design plastering done. I think it’s good for an interiors designer who leads people through building projects to once in a while re-visit the dust and endless decision making from radiator valves to wall colour and handles. It helps me empathise with my clients. Not sure the finances will allow this to be reimagined too often though. KW Developments

Great to be working with Tom KW Developments on this project for me. I’ve done quite a few builds/extensions with them over the years. The room will have black/glass French doors and an L shaped desk unit from Chisholm Design working with the lovely Katie there. I think old white. I’ve gone for a statement blind in Royal Oak from Lewis & Wood After some planning I can’t wait to see it come together.

Just finished a building project in North Farnham. Lots of character added back to a 1930’s house that had been stripped of all its character in a modern fit out by the previous owner. The client wanted a Soho house vibe. We used a pallet of soft pinks, taupes, olives with a touch of mustard yellow. Lots of panelling and . Wallpapers in various rooms by multiple companies. It really feels quite special. And kitchen collab with .

Back to work and a new project. Scheme is ready and the footings in the ground. Can’t wait to see it take shape over the next few months. Fingers crossed the rain doesn’t delay it too much.

A busy first 6 months of 2026 with whole house space planning and interior design. Pictures to follow are only just coming to completion. Then new plans for renovations later in the year. Great working with Chisholm Design Bathroom Interiors

Last fit of 2025. This Maru songbird fabric from paired with blinds and cushions piped in a coral for an extra pop of colour.

One more curtain fitting before Christmas next week but I thought I’d share a few of my favourites from 2025. I’ve enjoyed lovely projects with working some new fabric houses. It’s great to see colour.

Inspired by my walk in the Bourne Woods I’ve fallen in love with this velvet - not quite brick and not quite red - conker. It’s a versatile colour and works well in neutral schemes and as a background to a more colourful curtain.
