Sandhurst Farm Forge Collective

A family of 4 3D artists. A Blacksmith, WoodTurner/Sculptor, Textile Artist & Ceramic Artist. We are exhibiting Artists,and have our own onsite gallery.

Sandhurst Farm Forge Collective has come about gradually over the last 30 years.We moved into Sandhurst Farm and opened the Forge in 1995. There was already a Stableblock for Bed and Breakfast onsite. There have been various changes over time and the Accomodation is now a self catering Unit. We are situated in some wonderful countryside with an abundance of walks to suit all levels. Our whole fami

ly has been hugely influenced by our surroundings, and in turn this has influenced how we work as artists. We are close to the Market Town of Faversham which is also home to many other artists and art venues. Our collective includes : Charles Dickinson a third generation blacksmith with over 40 years experience, now concentrateing on creating a collection of artworks for exhibition, and no longer working on commision. Kate Dickinson ,a retired Bretton Hall (Yorkshire Sculpture Park) trained Textile teacher now concentrating on Spinning ,weaving and natural dyeing. The younger generation of Dickinsons ...Will Dickinson a wood turner/sculptor and Isabel Dickinson Ceramic Artist, who both studied at De Montfort University have selections of work within the collective and for sale in our onsite gallery, and other exhibition venues. We have often been asked if we do taster sessions ,and have started to offer these in ceramics, forgework and wheel spinning. The Pilgrims way Artists Summer Exhibition opens on May 15th, at the Tithe Barn in Lenham.As part of this event Sandhurst Farm Forge Collective are taking part in the Craft Fair in the Cobble Barn attached to the Tithe Barn on Friday 22nd Sat 23rd and Sun 24th May.

The four of us at Sandhurst Farm Forge will be exhibiting at the Spring Art Exhibition at Mereworth Winery with 9 other artists from Thurs May 7th -Sun 10th, and again open from Thurs 14th -Sun 17th. 11am -6pm We would love to see you there.

Sandhurst Farm Forge Collective is taking part in South East Open Studios in June.Celabrating 30 years of this annual event.There are five of us here at the Forge this year Vartan Moskofian, Isabel Dickinson Ceramic & Textile Artist, Will Dickinson - Artist Turner , Kate Dickinson and of course the Blacksmith Charles Dickinson.
To kick off the celebrations of 30yrs of SEOS , West End House Gallery, Smarden are hosting a preview exhibition from 1st -25th May. Charlie and Kate are delighted to be exhibiting a selection of textiles and forged metal work alongside other talented SEOS Artists.

Sandhurst Farm Forge Collective is again taking part in June 2026. We will be open and showing 10am -6pm on Fri,Sat, Sun June 5th ,6th &7th;12th ,13th &14th; 19th, 20th &21st.
Five, 3D Artists passionate about their craft.We will be demonstrating, with some organised opportunities to have a go at spinning, weaving and ceramics. Look out for further information about "Have a Go Sessions"

"Sandhurst Farm Forge" has run as an accommodation provider, and home to a family of 3D Artists for the last 31 years. Over that time the stableblock has seen various changes, and now presents as a Self Catering Unit. The stableblock consists of one king sized bedroom, lounge, bathroom with separate shower and bath. All towels and toiletries provided. A large fully fitted kichen with cooker and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave.Large farmhouse table. Our next venture as "Sandhurst Farm Forge Collective" includes all four of us Will Dickinson - Artist Turner Isabel Dickinson Ceramic & Textile Artist Charles Dickinson blacksmith and Kate Dickinson We are taking part in the Festive Makers Market in Ashford , hosted by an exciting group of Artists . https://formnthought.co.uk/events on November 22nd 10am -4pm. Their studio space is kindly supported by hypha studios, a charity who match artists to empty spaces, and this space is truly amazing!! Also lots of free parking. You will find it just off Junction 9 of the M20 Take the Trinity Rd (A251) towards Faversham Rd,over two Roundabouts and then look for the turning on your left for UPPER Pemberton Unit 100 drive to the back of the building to a wonderful large car park. Do put the date in your diary,we would love to see you there.

will be at Benenden Art Fair as part of the Sandhurst Farm Forge Collective Stand, October 3rd 6pm-8pm (private view), Sat October 4th, 10am -5pm and Sun October 5th 10am -4pm.
An amazing process lead project of ink drawings on cotton Khadi Paper using hand made Knopper Gall Ink . The original ink drawings are being kept intact as a group of 83, for a larger project, but are currently gradually being scanned, and put up for sale, as A3 prints .We would love you to come and view for yourself, part of this striking collection.
