Auld Scotia As the saying goes, when one door closes another opens! I create unique and quirky jewellery, keyrin As the saying goes... when one door closes another opens!

Life threw a curve ball and I found myself disabled and having to re-evaluate my working life, no longer could I sit in front of a computer screen all day. My creative side has been allowed to flourish and the grit being my limitations and disability has grown into a lovely pearl that is Auld Scotia Cottage Crafts. I create unique and quirky jewellery, keyrings, sun catchers and bookmarks to suit

all tastes. I hope to also work again with mixed media and upcycling furniture when my health allows. I hope you enjoy seeing my creations, any questions just ask. If you have a specific theme, colour scheme etc in mind drop me a message. Most pieces are one offs especially if I have used upcycled beads etc, however some I can make more of, so if there is something you like which is sold, give me a shout. Prices are as stated, plus postage if required. New items will be added periodically so do check back. Returns only accepted within 14 days and only if there is a fault. This gorgeous pendant is .925 sterling silver. It is a stunning example of amethyst with the rare hollandaise crystal blossoms which resemble sea urchins, these formed inside the amethyst crystal as it was being formed.
Amethyst comes from the Greek term for "not drunk" as the ancient Greek would drink wine from amethyst goblet believing it would help them stay sober.
