From the very first piece of timber 🪵 to the very last roof tile 🏠 — this is how this complex roof came to life.

This wasn’t a simple “follow-the-drawings” project. In fact, most of what we had was just a visual concept. The structural details had to be calculated on site, problem-solved in real time, and constantly discussed with engineers.

Every angle, every junction, every load point had to make sense — not just look good, but work perfectly.

That’s what real craftsmanship is about 🔨

Full replacement of a leaking roof in the centre of Salisbury 🏗️

This project definitely came with a few challenges:
➡️ Difficult access
➡️ High roof
➡️ No parking available in the city centre

But that didn’t stop us 💪

What was done:
✔️ Full removal of the old, leaking roof and structure
✔️ New roof structure built
✔️ New boards and new roofing felt installed
✔️ Insulation added from underneath
✔️ New plasterboards and plaster finish

The result?
👉 A solid, fully weatherproof roof, ready for many years without leaks.

I’ve been a bit quiet here lately, but I’m back and ready to show you what I’ve been up to 🔨

With all this rain recently, I kicked things off with a small job straight from the beach 🌧️🏖️ – repairing the roof of a beach hut that had seen better days.
