I’m definitely an autumn person 🍂🍁

Dog walks through fallen leaves, picking conkers, crisp mornings, cosy evenings and watching the Scottish countryside slowly change colour. There’s just something about this time of year.

🍂 And autumn weddings bring all of that together beautifully.

Seasonal berries and foliage, Dahlias at their very best, grasses, seed heads and plenty of texture. Warm, slightly moody colours. Big, opulent arrangements. Candlelight and cosy tables.

I love bringing a little of the season and the surrounding Scottish countryside into my wedding flowers.

✨ Join me at the Kinkell Byre Open Day ✨

📅 Sunday, 4th October, from 12pm to 4pm

Kinkell Byre is one of Scotland’s most iconic seaside wedding venues, full of character, atmosphere and charm. I’ve been lucky enough to work with the wonderful team there for many years, and I’m so excited to be joining them for their Open Day.

The venue will be beautifully styled for a wedding, giving you the perfect opportunity to explore the space, meet the team and chat with some brilliant local suppliers.

No booking is needed, just pop along anytime between 12pm and 4pm.

I can’t quite believe it … 15 years 💫

15 YEARS OF AMY ANNAND FLOWERS 🤍
15 years of flowers, weddings, creativity and doing what I love.
..but it started long before 2011 💫
As a child, I was forever creating little ‘wedding arrangements and posies’ in the garden. That love of flowers eventually took me from studying History in Aberdeen to Floral Design & Business in London.

My time in London gave me the opportunity to work as a Senior Florist and Operations Manager for some incredible florists, including Jane Packer, Moyses Stevens and McQueens. Then, in 2011, it was time to come home to Fife and start something of my own.

For eight years, I ran my flower shop in Newport-on-Tay, while growing the wedding side of the business. In 2020, I made another big change, moving to my private studio and focusing completely on weddings. And I haven’t looked back.

Hundreds of bouquets, buttonholes, installations and very special wedding days later, I still feel incredibly lucky to do this. Every wedding is different. Every couple brings new ideas. And I still get excited about the flowers every single time.

Thank you to every couple, venue and industry pal who has trusted me over the past 15 years. Here’s to the next chapter. 🥂🌿

Bridesmaids’ flowers 💐

They play such a lovely part in bringing the whole wedding look together.

I love creating bridesmaids’ bouquets that complement the bridal flowers, picking up the same colours, seasonal blooms and textures while still letting the bridal bouquet have its moment.

And seeing them all together, just like in this beautiful shot, is always one of my favourite views. 🤍

🌻 Big, abundant seasonal blooms
🤎 Warm, rich & slightly moody tones
🌿 Lots and lots of texture
🪵 Barns, old stone & countryside settings

Harvest season is here, and if anything screams countryside barn wedding, it's this time of year. 🌾🍂

Golden fields, wheat and grains, dried grasses and beautiful seed heads all lend themselves perfectly to big, opulent arrangements filled with texture and movement.

I love bringing a little of the surrounding countryside into wedding flowers, mixing those seasonal details with abundant blooms, warm tones and plenty of foliage.
Against old stone walls, wooden beams and rustic barns, it all stands out beautifully. Autumn really was made for barn weddings. 🤎

🍂 There’s something so special about this time of year in the Scottish countryside.

Hedgerows filled with berries, golden fields, crisp mornings and those rich, moody colours that make every bouquet feel warm and full of character.

I’m so excited to start creating this autumn's weddings and bring a little bit of the Scottish countryside into every celebration. 🤎
