The easiest extra income stream for most makers isn’t another craft fair.

It’s running your own workshops!
You’ve already got the skill and knowledge and people ask how you do what you do- so why wouldn’t you?

The thing standing between you and a workshop isn’t your talent or ability. It’s What to teach and what charge. And the scary one: how to fill the seats!

These are all the things I take you through.

Workshop Ready is five live online sessions, with me in the room with you, where we plan your workshop, price it properly, and build a real plan to fill it.

Together WITH me. This is not a course you watch alone and never finish.

Because it’s the first round, it’s £49. One workshop you run could earn that back several times over.

Doors close midnight Wednesday 17th June.

… while their DMs are full of people asking “how did you make that?”

The thing you do without thinking is the thing someone would pay to learn- that’s what you teach!

It’s the thing I hear most when I suggest a maker runs a workshop.

And I get it when you’re in it every day, the skill stops feeling like a skill, it’s just the thing you do.

But here’s what I want you to notice…. The questions you get asked, the “ooh how did you do that?” At a craft fair.
The thing your friends keeps asking you to show them.

The thing you do without thinking but never really thought you could charge for it is exactly the thing someone else would happily pay to sit in a room and learn from you.

pay attention to what people already ask you for!

It’s wild- because really, all you need to run your first workshop is one skill you can already do, a few people who want to learn it, and a couple of hours.
That’s it- that’s a workshop!

Not a teaching qualification, or six months of planning before you’re anywhere near “ready.”

We’ve made this so much more complicated than it needs to be abd it’s just procrastination in my opinion! Putting it off because it feels like too much effort.

So tonight, I’m going to show you how simple it actually is. How to plan it, Price it and how to fill it - even if you’ve never taught before.

It’s free, live on Zoom at 8pm, and there are two amazing resources waiting for you at the end that’ll be sooo useful for your planning!

Come and see how doable this really is.

I see this all the time, and very often in the craft world too.

The ideas that lower prices mean more sales.

I see makers do this with their makes, and then they do exactly the same thing with workshops.

They choose a price that feels “safe’.
A price nobody could possibly object to and that won’t make them feel uncomfortable.

But pricing isn’t just about affordability -it’s about perception.

People use price as a clue to its value.
Too high and they’ll hesitate, too low and they’ll wonder whether it’s worth their time.

That’s why workshop pricing is about so much more than covering materials.
It’s about communicating value as well.

And if you’re pricing from fear, guilt or imposter syndrome, you’re probably not making selling workshops easy for yourself.

📆This is one of the topics I’ll be covering in my free workshop webinar on Thursday (tomorrow!) 11th June.

🎁I’ve also got a free calculator and a planning sheet to give you so you can get working it out straight away. 🎁

I’ll be talking about how to plan, price and fill workshops without second-guessing yourself every step of the way.

Six months ago, you weren’t thinking of yourself as someone who teaches,

instead you were making, selling, packing orders or getting ready for the next craft fair.
Doing what most makers do when they want to earn more: making more.

But imagine if six months from now, your reality looked a little different.
Imagine opening your diary and seeing next month’s workshop already booked.
Imagine receiving messages asking when the next one is.
Imagine having people on a waiting list.
Imagine earning money from your craft in a way that isn’t completely dependent on making more stock.

Imagine being known not just for what you create, but for your knowledge too - helping other people to create and learn from you.

Finally recognising that your skills, knowledge and experience have value too.

If that future feels exciting, sharing all you need to know to start teaching is what I’m talking about in my free webinar on Thursday.

I’ll cover how to plan, price and fill your workshop - with information that will help you even if you’ve never run one before.

What if your expertise became your product?

Most makers have been taught that earning more means making more.
But there comes a point where there simply aren’t any more hours in the day
The problem isn’t your talent, or your product

The problem is that you’re only being paid for the finished product - not the years of experience, the techniques you’ve mastered,  the knowledge you’ve built, the process you’ve refined.

What if your craft could earn money in more than one way?

That’s the conversation we need to be having as makers.

Because building a craft business that pays you properly shouldn’t depend on you making more and more forever.

On Thursday, I’m running a free webinar where I’ll show you one of the simplest ways makers can start creating another income stream through workshops.

We’ll cover:
✨ How to plan a workshop people actually want
✨ How to price it confidently
✨ How to fill it without a huge audience

What if the most valuable thing you sell isn’t the thing you make?

Most makers are taught that if they want to earn more, they need to make more.

But eventually, every maker hits the same problem: your income becomes limited by your capacity.

The makers building sustainable businesses that last aren’t always making more. They’re finding more ways for their skills, knowledge and experience to create value and create a different type of product.

In case we’ve not met before, I’m Suzanne Booth, a Craft Business Strategist.

I help makers make more money beyond selling products, so they can build a business that’s not completely dependent on their time.

And ine if the ways in really passionate about is teaching and running craft workshops.

💻I’m sharing more about that this Thursday, 11th June on an online event - including how to plan, price and fill your first craft workshop.
