Amor Cera is getting a home 🥹🖤

I’ve been keeping a pretty big secret…

Amor Cera is getting its very own shop in Fleetwood! 🥹

I originally went into this thinking I’d give a little pop-up shop a go over autumn and Christmas and see what happened…

Then I actually walked around it 😂

There’s the shop itself, a HUGE production room, stock storage, an office, a kitchen and even a little room I can make into a space for the boys. Basically, everything Amor Cera currently has scattered around my house can finally have its own home 😂

I can’t show you the actual shop area just yet as there are still some personal bits belonging to the current business in there, so enjoy this very glamorous photo of my future production room instead 😂

There is SO much to do, and I’m going to take you along for all of it.

For now it’s a pop-up until Christmas… but if things go well, this might just become permanent 🤍

Our Story 🖤

Amor Cera Aromas began while I was on maternity leave with Freddie, at home through winter with a toddler and a newborn.

When my favourite wax melt vendor stopped trading, Ryan bought me a kit so I could make my own. It quickly became my little outlet, something that was just for me and reminded me I was still me, not only Mum.

The house soon became absolutely FULL of wax melts, until Ryan basically told me I either needed to stop making them or start selling them 😆

So I opened an Instagram and Etsy shop. Six months later I built my own website, despite having absolutely no idea what I was doing. Pretty much everything you see today has been learnt as I’ve gone along.

Along the way I discovered essential oils and created Calm Oasis and Dream Oasis for Frankie, to help create a calm and comforting environment for him. They became incredibly special to me, which is why 20% of every sale goes to a local children’s autism charity. 🖤

Amor Cera also became my escape during a time when I was struggling mentally. Eventually, with Ryan’s support, I walked away from a secure full-time job and gave this little business a proper chance.

And that’s really what Amor Cera still is.

It’s not about having an Instagram-perfect home. It’s for the mum who’s cleaned ten times and the house is somehow still a mess. The parent who’s finally got the kids to bed and shoved the toys into the corner. The person who just wants to shut the door, get cosy and make home feel good. 🏡

I don’t dream of Amor Cera becoming some enormous company.

I want a small, happy, family-run business that lets me create things I love, be there for my boys and build a life that works around our family.

If something I’ve made brings a little excitement, comfort, calm or happiness into someone’s day, then Amor Cera is becoming exactly what I hoped it would be. 🖤

Your home doesn’t have to look perfect to feel good.

🍂 HAPPY 1ST SEPTEMBER 🍂

These are the months I’ve been waiting for 😆🤎

Baking, slow cooker dinners, big thick blankets, the fire on, darker evenings and cosy nights at home while it’s miserable outside… absolute heaven 😂

And obviously, having the house smelling like autumn at the same time 🕯️🍂

There’s SO much happening at Amor Cera this September too. More bouquets, lots of autumn making, new things coming and something pretty exciting happening behind the scenes 👀

I have a feeling this is going to be a very good month 🤎

Who else is ridiculously happy that cosy season is finally here? 🍂

Well… it’s definitely not a windows-wide-open kind of Freshen Up Friday today 😂

Rain tapping on the windows, washing machine going, music on and the house getting its end-of-week reset 🧺🧹

Freshen Up Friday is going straight in the burner because if it can’t actually feel fresh outside, the house can at least smell it 😆🌿
