The world is so full of beauty,
We often look beyond the good
And spend our time not focusing on
The things we really should..

We need to express more gratitude
For all the things we are gifted
If we counted all of our blessings
Our spirits would feel lifted.

So when an occasion rises
To complain or feel short changed
Remember in that moment,
All the things in life you've gained.

Life isn't always perfect
But with maturity we start
to appreciate the calm and joy
That comes from a grateful heart.

He&Me have a busy year (don’t tell anyone but we’re celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary in August 🤫) and are marking it by ticking off a fair few trips that have been lingering on our bucket list. Our beautiful garden is suffering the consequences of our galavanting and of course the extreme weather situation hasn’t helped. We’re battling to tidy up, plant the veggies that I painstakingly grew from seed in the spring and keep everything watered but imagine our delight when we returned from our recent trip to find our wild patch thriving 😃 no care needed it seems! We’re very pleased with our first attempt against all the odds 😌😍
