So last week Molly came home with a cold. No issues right, easy enough to fight. For her atleast. A simple cold that she caught at school resulted in the twins being hospitalised for nearly a week. George ended up in High Dependency as he just wasn't getting enough oxygen and his poor wee heart was going a million miles an hour. Bella thankfully wasn't as bad but still required oxygen to help her get better. Bronchiolitis can be life threatening for children under 2 years old especially when they were premature or are small. Thankfully my two are stubborn and have already fought so much to be here. While they aren't 100% better they no longer require oxygen so atleast we are home.

This time of year is rife with bugs and illness so if your child is ill please keep them from school. You don't know who has immunocompromised family members and something as simple as a cold can result in extreme illness for some.
