To mark Mental Health Awareness Week (11th-17th May) we are delighted to announce our latest exhibition in the Good Gallery: ‘Life in Black and Yellow’ by Pamela Griffin.

“This series of work was created in response to my own personal experiences of living with anxiety and depression. My hope is to encourage more conversation and understanding around mental illness, and to connect with others who may feel isolated and alone due to their own mental health struggles.”

This powerful exhibition will be displayed from 12th May until the 30th May. Everyone is most welcome to view the artwork and learn more about Pamela’s work during shop opening times (Tue- Sat, 10:00- 17:30)

We are so pleased to accounce our next exhibition: "With the Mountain, I Breathe" by Gillian Ness. On now in the Good Gallery until 4th April 2026, during shop opening hours.

Gillian Ness is a mixed media artist working in Fort William. As long as she can remember Gillian has found inspiration, joy, solitude and comfort in the vast landscapes of Lochaber and beyond.

This new exhibition of work explores the connection between breath and the mountain, a frequently visited theme in Gillian’s work. Often realised as process rather than outcome, Gillian’s hand stitched works invite the viewer to breathe in response to the mountain where each stitch is a breath taken. Alongside these process artworks are some further explorations of time spent in mountains, reflections and differing perspectives on the views found up high.

Gillian’s work is often confined to the size of a postcard mimicking the collectible and sentimental value held within a received postcard. You are encouraged to breathe in and breathe out while viewing the exhibition.

We are very excited to announce our next exhibition: ‘What the Birds Can See’ by Claire MacLeod.

On now in the Good Gallery until the 14th March, during shop opening times.

‘Blurring the boundaries between painting, photography, printmaking and filmmaking, ‘What the Birds Can See’ draws attention to the shifting perspectives and layered ecologies of Glen Nevis. This exhibition invites viewers to consider the landscape not as a distant view but as a living system- observed from above, from within the soil, and through the slow accumulation of human touch.’

🍜 new in! beautiful clay pieces by the talented

these grounded vessels were formed using sustainable self-foraged materials that showcase Scotland’s natural earth resources

her environmentalist principles are felt through the tactility of her work as well as its origin, and the forms she finds in the clay are distinct and contemporary

we are pleased to stock a small range of items including three of her mugs (all three designs feature a wide rim to accommodate an aero press), generous ramen bowls, Creag vase and elegant pasta bowl
