In 2026, we celebrate 100 years on Fort William High Street. Since opening our doors in the former British Linen Bank in 1926, the High Street has been our home—and our window into the life of the town.

A Street Through Time, invites you to step back and explore a century of change. Through photographs, memories, and treasured memorabilia, discover how Fort William’s High Street has evolved, adapted, and continued to shape community life.

Come wander down memory lane with us and celebrate the stories that make our town unique.

with a background in mathematics as well as art, her work is informed by meteorological and geological data, her sense of curiosity taps into the quiet ways that nature shapes life around us.

To mark Mental Health Awareness Week (11th-17th May) we are delighted to announce our latest exhibition in the Good Gallery: ‘Life in Black and Yellow’ by Pamela Griffin.

“This series of work was created in response to my own personal experiences of living with anxiety and depression. My hope is to encourage more conversation and understanding around mental illness, and to connect with others who may feel isolated and alone due to their own mental health struggles.”

This powerful exhibition will be displayed from 12th May until the 30th May. Everyone is most welcome to view the artwork and learn more about Pamela’s work during shop opening times (Tue- Sat, 10:00- 17:30)

Come and join me for one (or all) of these upcoming sessions where we’ll be exploring different techniques and composition ideas to discover your own style.

Ideal for any experience levels, either as 1 off sessions or a progressive block of 4.

Session 1: Monday 20th April - Getting started: Making the initial decisions.
Session 2: Monday 4th May - Brush work and using water.
Session 3: Monday 18th May - Light and dark/ colour on colour.
Session 4: Monday 1st June - The finishing touches: knowing when it’s finished.

All sessions 6:30-8pm at Collective Goods.
All materials included.
