The most beautiful intimate spring wedding for Katy and Adam a few weeks ago at

We wanted to incorporate wisteria vine throughout the wedding, both to symbolise their union and the love that bound together every single person in the room, and also to connect the wedding to the the spectacular wisteria that sits at the end of their road in Cambridge, which was in full flower at the time of their wedding.

Now every time the wisteria flowers, they will be transported back to their magical day.

That is what season-led floristry does so well. Truly rooting your most important life events to a time and a place - and to each other.

Mimosa and a hint of pink …. And a really excellent woman … for international woman’s day.

I don’t know. Is it unfeminist of me to wonder why we have to have one special day celebrating women? Or is it unfeminist of me not to celebrate it in solidarity?

All I know is that I am surrounded by the most incredibly enriching, supportive, kind, powerful and all round badass women on a day to day basis. I am grateful for you all and for the role models you all are in your own way for me, and for my daughters (and son).

Plus mimosa, cyclamen and hellebores for the win.

Not really sure what and I were creating when we let ourselves loose in the studio with the blossom, but the sharp lines of these The Perfect Vases gave me all the joy against the organic swirl of the blossom and willow.

I am obsessed with lines. My dream wardrobe has always been Robin Wright Penn’s in House of Cards. Sadly shoulder pads and sharp tailoring just aren’t really the ‘vibe’ on a floristry rig. Sigh.

So I have to make do with finding the lines in my work.

A bit dark and sultry for you today…

The most beautiful tulips grown down the road from me , where everything they grow is with the greatest love and care for the soil, biodiversity and the people who grow them.

I bought these for myself for Valentine’s Day… and I let them get all long and curly, with the petals almost blowing, and then I shut myself away in the studio for what is my interpretation of the hottest Valentine’s date a girl can have (no offense Mr Wildstems 😳)
