New arrival in the CJR Laser Engraving workshop! 🛠️🖨️

Our new Anycubic 3D printer is here, ready to help create custom jigs, prototypes and samples—turning ideas into something you can hold.

From making holders that keep items in position for engraving to testing the shape and fit of new designs, it’ll be a useful addition alongside our lasers, resin printer.

A little boat to get things started… then onto the workshop jobs! 🚤😁

Working on somthing a little different some garden paving stones with east, west and south as the stones only had north.
They have been engraved deep to allow brass to be inlayed.

Ben Lomond

A little piece of Scotland, captured in silver. ✨

A 3D relief pendant of the iconic Ben Lomond, crafted in sterling silver.

Using the mountain's topographical contours, I've transformed the landscape into a detailed 3D relief, bringing the peaks, ridges and valleys of Ben Lomond to life in precious metal.

From a map of the mountain to a unique piece of jewellery, it's amazing what can be achieved by combining modern laser engraving technology with traditional jewellery craftsmanship.

🌞 The Road to Off-Grid ⚡
I’m currently working towards getting CJR LASER ENGRAVING running as independently as possible using solar power.
It’s a work in progress, but step by step I’m building a setup that can keep the workshop powered while reducing reliance on the grid.
More updates to come as the off-grid journey continues! 🔋☀️

🎉 BIG NEWS — CJR LASER ENGRAVING IS GOING FULL TIME! 🎉

What started as an idea, a laser and a lot of learning has grown into something I'm incredibly proud of.

I'm delighted to say that CJR Laser Engraving is now becoming my full-time business.

From personalised gifts and custom engraving to jewellery, crests, badges and completely bespoke projects, every order has helped me reach this point.

A huge thank you to everyone who has ordered from me, recommended me, shared my work or simply followed the journey. Your support really does make a difference to a small local business.

This is a massive milestone for CJR Laser Engraving — but hopefully it's only the beginning.
