OK, I bet you would like to know what this is all about. Like the Cinderella picture states... it was part of the 4K family along with Krafty Katz Kardz and Keepsakez and Kollektionz. I have long been a fan of 'make do and mend', and I was a recycling nut before it became part of government schemes to save the planet! Everyone can benefit from the items, as in you'll get a beautiful handcrafted gi
ft and feel good about it knowing you did your bit to save the planet...and have fun doing it. There will be a list (eventually) of items that could be made from the following: Smash (any cardboard tube type tubs with plastic lids) tubs, gravy granules tubs, old jeans (doesn't matter if they are ripped), old clothes, old hand knitted and crocheted items you can reclaim the wool from, jam jars...
I may occasionally sell an item on here for CHARITY. EVERY item sold on this page will be using at least 50% of recycled items. I will use as much as I can of an item, but if say I'm making a jeans handbag from an old pair of jeans then I may add a new zip if the one in the jeans is damaged (perhaps that was the reason for them being discarded?!) or things like press studs (snap fasteners for our American friends!) and then embellishments of embroidery and so on....
I hope you'll like this and support the cause to save the planet!!! We can ALL be super heroes!!! As of 2022 We're also adding a new category - Cosplay on a Shoestring... how to make things using not too much money but not have it looking tacky. I know from painful experiences when I did cosplay (health prevents me these days) that some cosplayers can be remarkably snobby when it comes to costumes. Part of the reason why I was part of iCosplay which promotes anti-bullying in the Cosplay community (incidentally I should mention this is for ANY kind of 'dress up' be it re-enactment, cosplay, Steampunking, Whitby Goth Weekend, Pirates, Furries...). I believe anyone can cosplay what they want. Will it look as good as a £1000+ moulded rubber Batman outfit... probably not but I've always thought the purpose of cosplay was escapism, fun and loving the franchise or whatever you are portraying be that Hobbits and LOTR, Star Wars, Trek, Vikings, POTC, Breaking Bad, Big Bang Theory or... whatever! So stock up on your cardboard toilet roll insides, brush off your glue gun and get ready to save the planet!
