🏡 Another stunning Story Homes transformation completed! 🏡

This time, it’s the beautiful Dawson house type — a spacious three-storey townhouse in Darlington.

Richie expertly installed the Traditional Herringbone LVT, creating a timeless and luxurious finish throughout. Keith then completed the look with stunning Cairo Mercury carpets fitted to the lounge, stairs and every bedroom, bringing warmth, comfort and style to all three floors.

The end result is absolutely stunning, and the quality of the workmanship speaks for itself. Fantastic work from both fitters and, as always, a real pleasure to be involved in another beautiful Story home.

We’ve been really looking forward to seeing this one completed — Invictus Ultimus Whitehaven is a firm favourite with our showroom staff, and it’s easy to see why! 🤍

The stunning Whitehaven Parquet, in the smaller 3” x 9” format, has been expertly installed throughout the entire ground floor, with the matching Whitehaven plank continuing beautifully into the en-suite.

Before installation could begin, the subfloor needed some serious TLC. Naz and Mark ground back the surface to remove all the soft laitance before applying a smoothing compound, creating the perfect foundation for a flawless, long-lasting finish. Fantastic work, lads! 👏

To complete the transformation, Craig and the team installed Rio Grande carpet in the beautiful shade Sphinx across the staircase, landing and master bedroom. The warm, luxurious carpet complements the Whitehaven LVT perfectly, bringing the whole home together.

✨ A staircase full of character and craftsmanship ✨

This stunning bespoke stair runner was created using Fibre Herringbone Chequers, beautifully finished with almond-coloured tape for a soft, elegant contrast.

Every section was carefully templated to achieve the perfect fit before being expertly installed by Craig and the lads. Antique brass stair rods complete the look, adding a timeless touch of luxury that works perfectly with the traditional herringbone design.

The runner was fitted over Wilsons Hair Crumb underlay for extra comfort and support, with short-pin grippers used to ensure a secure, professional finish.

From the precise pattern placement to the expertly finished edges, every detail was carefully considered. The finished staircase is stylish, sophisticated and completely bespoke to our client’s home.
