⚡ Emergency call-out yesterday

Customer reported a burning smell from the consumer unit. Inspection found serious overheating, a damaged busbar and heat-affected breakers caused by loose terminal connections.

The installation was made safe temporarily and the customer was advised to avoid high-load appliances until permanent repairs are completed.

Another reminder why electrical connections need to be installed and checked properly.

🔥 Another job completed — and this one was all about the finishing touches. 👌
For this project we installed two beautiful retro-style radiators, carefully positioned to match the character of the rooms and the existing wall panelling.
Alongside the heating work, we also installed new wardrobe rails, giving the storage space a much cleaner and more practical finish.
✅ 2 retro-style radiators installed
✅ Pipework connected and finished
✅ Wardrobe rails fitted
✅ Clean and tidy installation
✅ Another happy customer

Sometimes it’s the smaller finishing jobs that make the biggest difference to how a room looks and feels.
Really pleased with how these turned out — the radiators especially suit the style of the property perfectly. 🔥🏠
If you’re planning heating upgrades, radiator replacements, plumbing work or general property improvements, feel free to get in touch.

🔨 Another project taking shape — new en-suite in progress! 🚿

Before the tiles, fittings and finishing touches go in, everything underneath needs to be done properly.

This stage was all about preparing the room for the new en-suite bathroom, including:

✅ New floor preparation and boarding
✅ First-fix hot and cold water pipework
✅ Copper pipework routed for the new bathroom layout
✅ Supplies prepared for the future sanitary fittings
✅ Everything planned and positioned ready for the next stages of the renovation

It might not be the most glamorous part of a bathroom renovation, but this is where a reliable and long-lasting installation really starts. 👌

A lot of the best work gets hidden behind walls and under floors once the room is finished — so we always make sure it’s done properly from day one.

More progress from this project coming soon. 🔧🚿

⚡ Power cut? No problem. ⚡

Another happy customer and another home ready for the unexpected. 👌

We’ve just completed the installation and testing of a Hyundai backup power generator with ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch).

The system is designed to automatically start the generator when the mains power goes down and provide backup power to the property — giving the homeowner extra security and peace of mind when it matters most.

There’s something reassuring about knowing that even during a power cut, your home can still keep running. 🔌⚡

✅ Hyundai backup generator
✅ Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS)
✅ Connected and fully tested
✅ Automatic backup power solution

A big thank you to Krzysztof and Agnieszka for trusting DMC Power with the installation. It was a pleasure working with you! 🙌

Thinking about backup power for your home or property? Feel free to get in touch.
