This is where it all started… 🏡✨

Long before I knew the words interior design, I already knew how I wanted a home to feel.

I remember receiving my dollhouse and being so excited… but there was one little problem.

I didn’t like the interior. 😂

So, of course, I decided to change it.

I cut little pieces from my grandma’s wallpaper and even her curtains 🙈, found my scissors and glue, and started redesigning every tiny room.

I wasn’t interested in keeping it the way it came.

I wanted to make it my way.

Different wallpaper. Different fabrics. Moving things around until they felt right.

Looking back now, I think that was the moment my love for interiors really started. I just didn’t know yet that one day it would become my career.

Then life took me on a completely different journey.

20 years ago, I came to Scotland. 🇵🇱 → 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I couldn’t speak English. I didn’t have connections. I couldn’t simply walk into the career I wanted.

So it took time.

I learned the language. I worked. I learned. I made mistakes. I started again. And little by little, I built my life here from zero.

It definitely wasn’t an overnight success.

But that little girl who couldn’t leave her dollhouse alone never really disappeared. ❤️

Today, instead of tiny rooms, I design real homes.

I work with kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and full interiors taking an idea from the first design through sourcing, trades, installation and the finished space.

And sometimes I look back and realise…

I’m still doing exactly what I did with that dollhouse.

I see a space, imagine what it could become, and I have this need to make it beautiful, functional and completely personal to the person living there.

The only difference is…

I promise I don’t cut up my grandma’s curtains anymore. 😂🤎

I chose the right career because apparently I get paid to do this… 😂

🛍️ Shop with other people’s money
👷‍♂️ Tell grown men what to do
🤎 Call beige “warm greige” and suddenly it’s sophisticated
😅 Say “trust the process” while the house looks like a building site
☕ Walk around site with a coffee pretending everything is completely under control

But behind the jokes… there’s a LOT that goes into creating a beautiful home.

Everyone says: “Kasia, you should show more of the process…”

THE PROCESS: 😂😭🤯🫠

Because apparently “interior designer” sounds much more glamorous than:

Changing the design for the 47th time.
Chasing deliveries.
Something arriving in the wrong size.
A wall deciding it has its own plans.
Trades calling with “Kasia… we have a little problem.” 😭
Me saying “it’s fine, we’ll sort it” while internally looking exactly like this video. 😂

And then somehow… after all the chaos, decisions, dust, problem-solving and approximately 700 phone calls…

we create something beautiful. 🤎

That’s the part of the process my clients don’t need to worry about.

Traditional Bathroom Project | Glasgow

There’s something special about a bathroom that feels as though it has always belonged there.

For this Glasgow project, we embraced a more traditional style rich heritage green tiles, classic chrome fittings, a beautiful statement basin and timeless details that give the room real personality.

But when I design a bathroom, I’m thinking about much more than how it looks.

Will the layout work every morning?
Will the materials stand up to everyday life?
Will it still look beautiful in 5 or 10 years?
And most importantly does it feel like your home?

I’m Kasia, a Glasgow-based home designer working with clients across Scotland.

And you don’t need to find a designer, then a bathroom supplier, then a fitter, plumber, electrician and everyone else yourself.

I can bring the whole project together design, sourcing, suppliers, trades and project management, all under one roof.

Whether your taste is traditional, contemporary, colourful or completely individual, I don’t believe in giving every client the same Pinterest bathroom.

Bespoke illuminated shelving, classic wall detailing, soft layered lighting, natural wood and aged brass all work together to create an office that feels established rather than overly “designed”.
