Clydebank Riverside Hotel - Environmental Design Scotland is absolutely delighted that the council has recognised the potential of this project. This is a hugely positive decision for Clydebank and a major step forward for its waterfront. The proposal is about more than a hotel- it is about continuing the story of the river, bringing people back to the waterfront, and creating new life, investment and opportunity at Queens Quay. The building has been carefully designed to reflect the area’s heritage while looking forward to the future, and we are now excited to move forward and deliver a high-quality development that both the client and the town can be proud of. The concept seeks to place Clydebank confidently on the architectural map and celebrate the town’s shipbuilding heritage, the meander of the river and the backdrop of the Kilpatrick Hills.
