WE’RE HIRING | BENCH JOINER

We’re growing — and we’re looking for an experienced Traditional Workshop & Machine Shop Bench Joiner to join the Jack Badger workshop.

This isn’t a trainee role. We’re looking for someone with experience working with hardwoods, a strong knowledge of joinery, and a genuine interest in traditional and heritage-style joinery.

At Jack Badger, we have our own way of doing things. You’ll bring your knowledge and experience, while developing your skills through contextual training in the workshop and learning the Jack Badger approach to traditional joinery.

From precision machining to hand-cut joinery, every piece is made with care, accuracy and respect for the craft.

If you’re an experienced bench joiner looking for your next challenge — and want to be part of a growing workshop in the foothills of the Peak District where traditional skills still matter — we’d like to hear from you.

The Fendrell is Jack Badger’s take on a traditional half glazed cottage door. The bottom half of the Fendrell is assembled utilising a gate design and then complemented with a double-glazed upper. This means the door can be easily made as either a single door or as an inward opening stable style door.
