Sharon's Card Crafts started in a very small shop in Northfleet, Kent in 2000 packed with crafting goodies and held workshops once a month in the local church hall. Within a year there was not enough room to hold all the new craft items so, in 2001, we moved to larger premises in Gravesend, Kent with a small dedicated workshop room that held 5 people, including the teacher, got more stock and held different workshops every week.
In 2005 crafting and crafting workshops had become so popular we moved once again, this time to Swanley, Kent. We had a lovely big shop with lots of rooms that meant we could have demonstrations, make and takes, have 12 people and a teacher in the workshops as well as stock a more diverse range of crafting products.
However, in 2018, after 18 years, shopping trends had changed to online and costs were rising so quickly we made the difficult decision to close the shop. We now have a website and do workshops in Gravesend every week covering different crafts and crafting levels with various different teachers. We also have a small shop there that you can visit just by giving us a call and letting us know when you want to come. All of our workshops can be seen and booked on our website.
We are the home of Sleek Designs and have been designing and selling our own unmounted stamp range since 2007 and papers since 2010 and now that we have an online shop we will soon have digital products available too.
