A recent specialist installation completed alongside ULS , helping solve two important health & safety issues within this commercial office space.

♿️ AVSilver 20 Reflective Film was installed internally to create a clear mirrored reflection, helping wheelchair users safely reverse out of the lifts by giving them better visibility of what’s behind them.

🔒 Crystal Etch Frosted Privacy Film was then installed externally to the lift cars, providing privacy and helping prevent the risk of upskirting while users travel between floors.

During the summer months, this conservatory was reaching temperatures of over 42°C - making what should be an enjoyable living space almost unbearable to use.

Our client wanted a solution that would seriously reduce the solar heat, without making the whole conservatory look overly reflective or mirrored.

A unique project from start to finish. 👌

This installation involved two large walk-on floor skylights above the client’s home gym, where the brief was to improve privacy, reduce heat build-up and enhance the overall appearance of the property without compromising the modern design.

We installed AVSilver 20 ESR7 External, delivering approximately:
☀️ 82% total solar heat rejection
😎 84% glare reduction
🛡️ 99% UV protection
✅ 7-year external warranty

One of the skylights also had a nickel sulphide inclusion fracture in the glass. As the pane was already damaged, the client wanted to minimise its appearance rather than replace the unit immediately. The external solar film helped disguise the fracture while transforming the overall finish.

The mirrored effect works perfectly with the surrounding landscaping, giving the property a premium look while providing a practical solution below.

Definitely one of the most interesting installs we’ve completed this year. 💪
