With today, Term 4 comes to an end for art and craft Lessons.

I have no words to describe the love and appreciation I feel for how this term went. Despite having dozens of other things going on in my life, I must say the projects I managed to create—and the response from the children—were truly beyond measure. 🥹🫶🤩

📣For the first time in three years, I won’t be running an Easter workshop. Miss needs to pause for a moment in order to come back next term with lots of new ideas and great energy for the children.

🎨I’ll be sharing all the projects from Term 4 over the coming days—some are not only great for art and craft workshops, but also lovely ideas for keeping your children entertained at home.

I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all an amazing half term and a peaceful, restful Easter holiday. 🐣

This cute little project was created by all the pupils in my Art & Craft Lab at school. 🎨✨

It was a step-by-step activity where we explored different techniques and materials.

We started by drawing the castle using watercolour pencils on watercolour-thick paper. Then the castles were carefully cut out and glued onto smooth 300-gram card where the real magic of the scene begins. 🪄

Using soft pastels, a very special and beautifully blendable material (perfect for kids’ projects), the children brought the sky to life. 🌅🌌

Some skies look like sunsets, others like a night sky; all different, all unique… just like our beautiful mini artists. 💛

This February half term, I’m opening the studio doors again for a fun-filled, immersive Art & Craft Workshop where children will:
✨ explore different art techniques
🎨 create Valentine & Venice Carnival–inspired artworks
🎭 design and decorate their own masks
🖌️ express themselves freely in a warm, creative environment

📍 Art Studio: 53 Barr Rd (near St John’s)
🕙 Time: 10am–3pm
👧🧒 Age: 5–11 years
🎒 Packed lunch required (1-hour lunch break)
👥 Very limited spaces (small groups)

These workshops always fill up quickly, so if your child loves making, creating, and getting hands-on with art, this is for them 💖

P for Picasso - C for Cubism - M for Modelling Clay

For the first week back to school, I’ve prepared a simple, engaging and fun project for the children!

All kids love clay, and this one is especially exciting — it’s super-soft, flexible and lightweight.

A little while ago I, spontaneously, stuck a piece of this clay onto paper and I immediately realized its incredible effect and power. Since then I started exploring the infinite possibilities of this material in the art & craft world.

Using just four bright colours — blue, green, yellow, and dark pink — the children can explore mixing and creating new shades and tones with the clay.
This has quickly become one of their favourite techniques, and I can’t wait to see their completed artworks tomorrow!
