Very excited about the arrival of our Great Ayton Discovery Centre village calendar. Thank you to all the local business owners who have helped by sponsoring us. Also a huge 'Thank You' to our contibuting photographers, EJB Photography, Mark Huggins creative landscape photography and the mysterious Ayton Owl. I think you will agree it is even better than last years! They make a great gift and they fit in an A4 envelope ready to be posted far and wide! All money made will go directly to the everyday running of our lovely Discovey Centre.

FREE SLIPPERS ANYONE!! We have a lovely event coming in September . We will be open on Monday 14th September for a slipper social. It will be on between 2-4 pm. Please share with anyone who would be interested in coming. The Fire and Rescue, Service, North Yorkshire Sport, Trading Standards, North Yorkshire Police and the Home Library Service will be in attendence also.

Thank you to Gill, Grant and everyone who took part in our bird box painting. It was lovely to see different age groups get creative together and every box was gorgeous and unique. It also helped raise funds for our lovely library.

Exciting craft session coming up. 5th September.

Paint a bird box with Frenchic Al Fresco Inside / Outside paint.
Eco friendly, nursery safe, safe to use, clean up with soap and water.
All materials provided - donated bird boxes, paint, aprons.
Cost £5 per child, all proceeds for GADC.
Booking essential! 15 places only. There are 3 sessions available

Adults to stay with their young person please for the duration of the activity.
