Toy Story

Been out and put my postbox topper up. Just moved to this village and the big postbox has solar panels, so had to decorate the smaller one!

My latest ‘make’ - I actually started to make ‘Pia’ two years ago, when I hadn’t been crocheting that long, but it was a little beyond my capability at the time. So after two years I finally took the project bag back out again and absolutely loved making her.

Last weekend I put out my first ever postbox topper! Despite the rush (as I wanted it out for the whole of December) it was really good fun to make, and I’ve felt kind of nervous about my cute little creatures being left outside; hoping that nobody does them harm, and hopeful that people will enjoy it 🥰

Now that the wedding is over and and I have no more planning, I’ve found my crojo again, and finally finished this cute baby blanket which hangs over the side of the cot when not in use 😍 4560 bobbles 😳

I also tried out gingham - absolutely love this. Again was following a pattern. It was nice to have a day just trying out new stitches and patterns.
I think the gingham was my favourite - and I might just have to buy some greens to work with 💚💚💚

Trying out some new stitches today, following harlequin stitch tutorial.
I’m loving this and thinking I may need to buy some good contrasting colours and make a blanket…….. 🤔……. Time to check my bank account 😈
