MADE in East Lothian supports artists, makers and the wider creative community in East Lothian.

The MADE Arts Hub in Haddington is a mixed use venue and a centre for the creative reuse of donated materials. In addition to our retail area the versatile space is used for community group meetings, tutored workshops and drop-in groups at affordable prices. We also provide regular art and craft sessions for adults with additional support needs and mental health issues. MADE also hold a monthly Makers Market in Tyninghame for local makers to sell their work direct to the public, and we facilitate community art projects to engage local people in creative activities.

Feeling a bit blue about the clocks going back tomorrow? ⏰

You should have come along to our 'Make a Drum Lampshade' workshop last Saturday!

Those who did certainly won't be fearing the darker nights now they have their beautiful lampshades to brighten their space.

Thank you and well done to all those who attended. We had a lovely time!

Did you know that we run weekly community groups in the MADE Arts Hub?

Our 'Stitch & Knit' group meets every Friday morning (10-12).

Bring whatever you're working on or have a rummage in our Reuse Hub, have a chat and a cuppa.

All we ask is that participants donate £3 per session to cover the cost of refreshments.

No booking required. No commitment.

Join Fee to learn the ancient art of making ink from foraged materials. You will learn how to make a selection of inks from cones, tree bark and leaves.

MADE in East Lothian has been in discussions with ELC about relocating the Arts Hub to Haddington Town House. Please support our plans for the future. More details:

East Lothian Council is seeking views on whether community organisations may be interested in taking on a greater role in the management of some buildings through long-term community benefit leases or, where appropriate, community asset transfer arrangements.
