Sunshine, fairy lights and a castle backdrop - not a bad combo for a wedding day.
This light-filled marquee at Thirlestane Castle was topped off with a canopy of fairy lights running the length of the clear roof. Subtle by day, magical by night - the perfect setting for a celebration.

The arrival of the Summer Solstice
As the sun reaches the highest point and we mark the Summer Solstice, we’re taking a moment to pause and reflect.

Halfway through the year, and already 2025 has brought us more than we could’ve hoped for - from chilly spring mornings at the start of the season, to warm summer nights watching couples dance under twinkling lights.

We’ve had the privilege of helping bring dream days to life for so many incredible clients - bringing to life bespoke spaces in the most beautiful corners of Scotland, solving challenges behind the scenes, and delivering seamless events that look effortless (even when they are anything but!).

To every couple, every estate team, every event planner, and every supplier we’ve collaborated with so far this year: thank you. Here’s to the months ahead - more celebrations, more light-filled evenings, and many more stories still to be told.

Festoon lights led the way, and love lit up the rest.
A moment that never fails to bring the energy - that just-married entrance into the marquee, with guests on their feet, napkins in the air, and the celebrations in full swing.

L&T’s wedding last June, held at L’s family home, was everything a Scottish summer celebration should be.

Set amongst the rolling hills of the south of Scotland, their New Century marquee, with its elegant sweeping peaks, looked right at home in the landscape. Inside, florals echoed the fresh, early June greenery, brining the season’s natural beauty to every corner.

A day full of love, laughter, and thoughtful details in the place that means the most.

As we wave goodbye to May and step into June, we’re looking back at one of last month’s standouts.
This clear-span marquee at Thirlestane Castle was brought to life with nearly half a kilometre of fairy lights, woven into a canopy that sparkled beneath the silhouette of the castle. Paired with clear roofs, it made for a beautifully elegant setting during the day, and a magical experience by night.
