Being a small business can be hard at times but very rewarding.
You are the person responsible for everything to do with your business from sourcing good quality products at the best price, designing, making, packing, posting, photographing finished products and keeping your business page upto date.
On the days, sometimes weeks when you don't get orders you try to keep positive and keep putting your business out there.
Then, you receive an order and no matter the size it makes all the hard work worth it.
I recently received a message from a customer asking if I could make personalised Christmas cards using designs of their choice. This was something I had never thought of doing but I thought let's give it a go...
The customer gave me 4 different black and white pictures and asked if it would be possible to add a pop of colour to parts of the design. I played around with different ideas and then sent the designs to customer for a final check and to see if there was anything else we could add before I put the cards to print. The customer asked if I could try change a part of the design asking me to add some art. I did this then re-sent to the customer to confirm all was as they wanted it. The customer was very happy with the final design. I was over the moon that I had managed to design the customer the personalised items they wanted.
I printed the finished designs on to card (the customer had pre-chosen the size of card) and sent a photo to the customer.
The customer was very pleased with the finished items and is calling this week to collect them.
Permission has been given by this customer for me to use their designs to show you what we can achieve, so here's a sneak peak..
If you would like to order some personalised Christmas cards or cards for any occasion please feel free to comment on the post or message me privately.
I am also able to personalise many other products. Please don't hesitate to contact me and we can discuss your individual ideas.
Happy shopping and have a lovely Sunday...
