Here is our bestseller Blue Strawberry Thief fabric with a mirrored gold liner! We absolutely love the mirrored effect, our embossed gold liners give off a lovely glow but these are even better!

Spring feels like it’s almost sprung and or recent orders are definitely showing that you all feel very similar, our Golden Lily lampshade has been really popular this last few weeks. It’s made up here with a champagne liner but it also looks great with gold! We’ve also popped a mirrored metallic option on our Etsy listings for you as it’s been something that we get asked about it a lot so you asked and we’ve listened! Happy Friday 🥂

We’ve had so much going on behind the scenes that we haven’t had time to update our social media recently and so we thought it would be a great time so show you some of the lovely pictures of our shades that we have been sent from our Etsy Reviewers! We love seeing our shades in their new homes. We have already experienced our busiest year so far since starting and we’re only in February! But don’t worry we’ll be introducing some new lines soon and updating you with what we’ve been getting up to along the way. Happy Saturday! 💡

This is such an important status!

We felt we had to share 99% of our customers are absolutely wonderful but we have to remind everyone when ordering from any small businesses behind it are only usually 1 or 2 people working really really hard. We’re not Amazon or (insert name of large billionaire company here) and unforgiving, cut-throat messages do nothing more than upset the small business owners & destroy their reputation.

When you create a small business you’re so invested in every order and customer so it’s impossible not to let stuff like this, and even messages that aren’t this extreme, get to you.

Try to be kind to small businesses and just in general, you never know what kind of day the person at the other side of the message is having. We get so many nice comments - thank you for that! But it’s the bad ones that really stick the most.

HAPPY DECEMBER!! 🎅🎄⛄️ We’re feeling festive at Shade Queens HQ and wanted to add something merry to our collection. What do you think to our new mistletoe shade? 😚 We’ve paired this with a hand painted wooden base which can be sold together or separately (DM for more info)

Sorry for our absence on social media, you’ve just been keeping us so busy with all of your orders! Here’s one we have just completed, a twist on our usual Strawberry Thief Lampshade as this is a customer supplied fabric which is printed on velvet for two ceiling lampshades 😍

Excited to share our latest commission with you! We supersized our Christmas shade from last year and sourced and painted a solid beech wood base in Oxford Navy chalk paint for our customer. We’re thinking of adding bases to our Etsy listings, what does everyone think? 🌟
